Lebron will go down as one of the biggest chokers in NBA history.
With that said it's no wonder all his fanboys are desperately trying to prop him up still while he's clearly a choker and a loser :oldlol:

Unfortunately the non-believers/heathens chose their own path.
The Lord Kobe gave them free will, but they abused it and decided to worship someone else. They fcked themselves over.

I thought he was 2/6???
losing the finals doesn't make you a choker IF you are losing to better teams.

It's a game involving a man these people haven't met.

definitely played better, the Heat were a better team throughout the year - but the Mavs came into the finals roaring from beating up their opposers in the previous rounds.
that and Lebron taking a nap in 2011 was deciding factor lol
all the talk over 2/6 or 2/7 is ridiculous to me - it's like they expect you to not even try if you know you have no chance winning :confused shrug: , which in itself isn't a surety going into any playoffs or finals. we've seen many upsets take place over the years, and to come up a series short of the ring isn't any negative stamp if indeed you weren't expected to win.
lebron has no excuse for 2011 - that's an everlasting stain on his resume, as is 2004 for Shaq/Kobe. those all stick because they were outright favorites to win, and flopped at the opportunity to seal the deal.
other years is just a rhetoric to fit agendas - no one gives Magic crap for losing 4 titles, Wilt for losing 4, etc. it'll be a forgotten thought for most, and only remembered by those looking to push an agenda of diminishing.
if we are going to count losing in the finals as something relevant, then we need to begin including not making the playoffs or finals more heavily towards negatively impacting a players overall career - not arbitrary.

LeBron isn't going to be 2/7 in the Finals after this year because that would require him to make a seventh Finals.
The team that will be in the Finals representing the Eastern Conference is the team that is better off without him.

Lebron definitely choked in the 2011 Finals. Lebron just played way below his normal level, and 3 of those 4 losses were still very close and was up for grabs until the last couple minutes (or even couple seconds).
The other losses, the opponents were just plain better.

So what did you think of Hakeem? Guy could only get to the Finals three times, and was eliminated in the first round eight times?
How about "Mr. Clutch" who went 1/9 in his Finals, and was awful in the one in which he won a ring?
How about a prime KAJ, who went to only two Finals in his first 10 seasons, and only won one?
How about Jordan in nine of his 15 seasons, including playing on a losing team five times?
How about Shaq, who played 19 seasons, won three rings as the man, and contributed to another title?
Kobe? 20 seasons, and two rings as the man? Played on teams that went 17-65, too.
Bird? Had stacked rosters his entire career, and yet only won three rings.
You can go right down the list. Unless a player absolutely chokes, as Lebron did in 2011, you can't blame him for his TEAM's shortcomings.
Jordan didn't win a ring until he had rosters that went 55-27 without him (and were certainly good enough to win a title that year.)
Russell won 11 rings with HOF-laden supporting casts his entire career. And got blown out by another "choker" when that player finally had an equal roster.
TEAM game my friend. TEAM game.

Lebron had no chance in 2015 Finals
The Cavs had no chance with Lebron's defense allowing a 7 ppg role player (Iggy) to be > Curry.. Iggy averaged 17 ppg, so that's a 10 point swing.
But even WITH Lebron's defense allowing Iggy an extra 10 ppg, and even WITH Lebron shooting an abysmal 39%, the Cavs were still competitive and won 2 games - clearly, if he holds Iggy to 7 ppg and shoots 50%, the Cavs win easily.
Not much Lebron could've done in 2007 Finals
Many guys played better against the same Spurs team:
Lebron vs. Spurs in 2007 Finals: 22 ppg on 35%
Melo vs. Spurs in 2007 1st Rd: 27 ppg on 48%
Dirk vs. Spurs in 2007.. WCF: 27 ppg on 53%
Kobe vs. Spurs in 2008.. WCF: 29 ppg on 53%
The reason for Lebron's worse efficiency was JUMPSHOOTING EFFICIENCY:
....................... midrange jumpshot FG%..... 3-point jumpshot FG%..... Jumpshot proportion of offense
Lebron 2007 Finals (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/2544/stats/shooting/?Season=2006-07&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4) .............14.8........................... 20.0............................... 52.2
Dirk 2006 WCF (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/1717/stats/shooting/?Season=2005-06&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=3) ..................41.3........................... 50.0 .............................. 61.2
Melo 2007 1st Rd (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/2546/stats/shooting/?Season=2006-07&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=1) ...............37.5........................... 50.0 .............................. 59.1
Kobe 2008 WCF (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/977/stats/shooting/?Season=2007-08&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=3) .................50.0........................... 33.3............................... 63.3
Everyone shot well on jumpers against the Spurs, EXCEPT Lebron - the so the Spurs jumpshooting defense clearly wasn't prohibitive - Lebron just can't shoot.
Lebron had no chance in 2007 Finals
Not true - despite Lebron's 22 ppg on 35%, all 4 games were single-digit affairs, including 1-possession nail-biters in Games 3 and 4.. (edit: Game 1 was 11 pt game)
The Cavs had a great defense, but just needed a consistent volume scorer to win.
Lebron had no chance in 2014 Finals
Horseshit - Lebron's defense was very good the first 2 games against Kawhi (9 ppg on 43%), and not surprisingly, the Heat were tied 1-1... They were competitive with the Spurs, just like OKC and Dallas were, who held Kawhi to 12 ppg on 45%.
But then Lebron gave up in Game 3, because he's weak with no perseverance - Kawhi proceeded to run roughshod the last 3 games for 24 ppg on 69% - this is the biggest reason the series changed - that's a 15 point swing.
Better defense on Kawhi would've kept the games closer, and the Heat could've WON the series if Lebron coupled his better defense on Kawhi with more offensive aggression - he only averaged 17 shot attempts, which was HALF his attempts in 2015 Finals that won 2 games with a worse supporting cast (the injured Cavs) against a better team (Warriors)..
Obviously, if Lebron plays good defense on Kawhi AND doubles his shot attempts to 33 per game like the 2015 Finals, the Heat would've won.
How do Lebron fans live with him having 2 championships/2 FMVPs and having 7 EC championships/Finals appearances? Weird question.... Same way they live with him having 4 MVPs and being ranked top 3-8 all-time.... dunno... :confusedshrug:

Excuses as always. Lebrons career is a single excuse
Excuses as always. Lebrons career is a single excuse
You are confusing excuse with context... something you have to consider both when somebody wins & loses to evaluate how significant/insignificant especially a championship run is win or lose.... what did the player have to work with around him, key injuries, did he perform up to his standards, what was his role / was he the alpha, what was the competition... context, something Kobetards understand, but ignore, since that bottlenecks the numerics of his rings & makes him look like he was a sidekick/was carried to 60% of his rings which unfortunately is true, he was the alpha 2 out of 5 rings, compared to 2/2 of Lebron or to the extreme 6/6 of Jordan and then when you realise he has only 1 mvp aswell you all of the sudden realise why he should never be ranked above Lebron.... If it wasnt for those 2 alpha championship runs by Kobe he would never be anywhere close to top 10... it would be just 3 sidekick rings & 1 mvp.... thats less than half of a John Havlicek career....

Jordan has the greatest championship frequency in the modern era:
6 rings in 15 years, or 40% championship frequency
Compare to Lebron's championship frequency:
2/12, or 16.7%

The general consensus is that Kobe was Shaqs equal for those rings and was even more essential to them making it out of the west.
He was so essential that he was INTENTIONALLY INJURED in the finals.
No amount of kicking and screaming will change history.

"ya, I got to witness a fvcking failure in Lebron James go 2/7 during my peak as a fan"....prime years of my life so inferior relative to your grandfather's viewing experience....If you want to talk to someone who actually watched a real winner dominate in the NBA, talk to him"

Sad truth, the only excuse he had was the 07 less. Everything else was his decision.

Even 9 years later in 2016, his efficiency is among the worst in NBA outside the paint... Lebron simply CAN'T SHOOT.. When a player can't shoot, there are tons of guys that can play better than him.
