In the case of Prince, who knows? The guy spent the last 3 decades doing everything he could to make sure no new listeners could enjoy his music. No youtube. No music streaming. And he did a whole bunch of weird shit.

As dark as it sounds, maybe people finally get to enjoy his music again with improved accessibility and a more sensible commercial approach.

MediaTakeOut.com just received word that a VERY popular African-American celebrity - who has recently been in the news - now has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously since we are not able to 100% confirm the story - we're going to leave it as a Blind Item. We want to make it clear we are NOT talking about Magic Johnson. This report REALLY hurt our heart. According to a person EXTREMELY CLOSE to the situation, the celebrity, who is known for having a very EXTREME sexual past reportedly contracted the illness sometime in the 1990s. He kept the illness quiet but began taking his medication RELIGIOUSLY up until about two years ago. Here's what we're told by a VERY trusted entertainment insider: "[The celebrity] believed that he was cured, and he had some crazy [religious] people who told him that God cured him. So he stopped taking his medication and the sickness came back. Now doctors say he's dying, and there is nothing anyone can do about it." We're told that the celebrity is expected to get sicker and sicker, and eventually pass. It can happen as soon as the summer. Very sad news.

I didn't think the flu can kill a person...
The flu killed more people than WWI. Some think it hit central europe first and tipped the balance of the war.

https://virus.stanford.edu/uda/
The influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 killed more people than the Great War, known today as World War I (WWI), at somewhere between 20 and 40 million people. It has been cited as the most devastating epidemic in recorded world history. More people died of influenza in a single year than in four-years of the Black Death Bubonic Plague from 1347 to 1351. Known as "Spanish Flu" or "La Grippe" the influenza of 1918-1919 was a global disaster.

http://www.flu.gov/pandemic/history/1918/the_pandemic/index.html
No one knows exactly how many people died during the 1918-1919 influenza pandemic. During the 1920s, researchers estimated that 21.5 million people died as a result of the 1918-1919 pandemic. More recent estimates have estimated global mortality from the 1918-1919 pandemic at anywhere between 30 and 50 million. An estimated 675,000 Americans were among the dead.

One of the most amazing musicians of his generation for sure, but truly off his rocker. Shocking to see him go so early.

This doesn't make any sense.

Prince prohibited people from listening to his music for FREE because he wanted to be paid for his music...like any rational artist would.

I never knew of Prince to have any drug or alcohol problems. What weird shit was he into? Not letting people STEAL his music? WTF?!

3 days ago an article on MTO was released stating the a very famous african-american had AIDS.

We just received word that a VERY popular African American celebrity – who has recently been in the news – now has what is being described as AIDS. Obviously since we are not able to 100% confirm the story – we’re going to leave it as a Blind Item. We want to make it clear we are NOT talking about Magic Johnson.

According to a person extremely close to the situation, the celebrity, who is known for having a very extreme sexual past reportedly contracted the illness sometime in the 1990s. He kept the illness quiet but began taking his medication religiously up until about 2 years ago. Here’s what we’re told by a VERY trusted entertainment insider:
[The celebrity] believed that he was cured, and he had some crazy [religious] people who told him that God cured him. So he stopped taking his medication and the sickness came back. Now doctors say he’s dying, and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

We’re told that the celebrity is expected to get sicker and sicker, and eventually pass. It can happen as soon as the summer.

I have no doubt this celeb they were talking about was Prince.

Prince was a genius, but he also did not live in the real world.

check out Kevin Smith talking about Prince hiring him for a documentary.

I knew someone who knew his private chef. She was a classically trained chef. She quit several months later because the only thing he wanted her to cook was Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

He was an infinitely better singer, song writer, and musician than Michael Jackson but he didn't have the management and industry backing him up like MJ did because he wasn't conformist Michael was.

A level below Hendrix, but still a top top musician
Actually the more I thought about this, there are several areas where Prince>Hendrix.

Better singer
Better songwriter
Better producer

Both were pretty amazing icons/stage performers.

Hendrix was better and more innovative guitarist, but Prince was excellent on like a dozen instruments, proficient on a bunch more.

People who say Hendrix was a better musician vastly underrate songwriting.

I'm more deeply rooted to Jackson. I been liking him since I was was 3-4 years old. I knew of Prince when I was younger, but didn't really become a fan until I was in high school in the early 2000s. I really started digging into his catalog and I was hooked. His unreleased material, his protegees work from the Time, ect. And JB, my pops was really into him, so naturally I would follow suit.

And this same flower that smiles to-day
To-morrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
The higher he 's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
And nearer he 's to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse, and worst
Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
And while ye may, go marry:
For having lost but once your prime,

Prince had a range of 4.5 octaves, while MJ could 'only' sing in 3.3. MJ's voice was more harmonic though. For refrence, Freddie Mercury's voice had a 5 octave range. Fun Lovin' Criminals Mike Patton had/has 7 or 8 iirc, of course he's nowhere near these others when talking about the complete package.

So, he was buying AIDS medicine at Walgreens the day before he died? Does Walgreens sell AIDS medicine?

No, he was buying pain medication to deal with whatever his true sickness was. Whatever the sickness was, it was killing him and he knew it.

Just my opinion.

I think he developed full blown AIDS and there was no going back after he allowed it to get to that point by not taking his proper medications.

Was just using Denzel as an example.

And, I don't think someone with AIDS would be able to perform 2+ hour long concert, days before death. Wouldn't he be too weak to sing and play instruments all over the stage? He was spotted at a Jazz club Tuesday, just chilling in the audience. Wednesday, he going to Walgreens to pick up his own medicine. He didn't send someone to pick it up for him because he didn't feel well enough to do it him self. All this doesn't add up. He was in his elevator, on the way to his home studio to record music. That's where they found him.

But it wouldn't hurt his rep and it would help a lot of people that may falsely think they're cured just because the medicine can make it seem undetectable.

Also, if he had it wouldn't he have started to gain weight like Magic Johnson did? With all the steroids and other stuff they give Magic. Dude was the exact same size from 1981 as he was in 2014. Real influenza can very well last up to a month. The flu like symptoms can vanish after 2 weeks, but its "sideeffects" can kill you off much later especially if you don't give it a rest. Masking a influenza and dragging it kills enough people. Those footballer(soccerplayers for you guys) deaths are often linked to influenza.

How can you not put this puzzle together with the information in that link, dated days before his death?

It's eerily obvious.
That link is definitely talking about Prince I have no doubt.

But there's no evidence what they are saying is true.

Prince team sought addiction doctor's help (http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/04/health/prince-addiction-doctor-kornfeld/index.html)

(CNN)The day before Prince died, his team called an eminent opioid addiction specialist in California seeking help with "a grave medical emergency," the Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper reported.

Dr. Howard Kornfeld sent his son on an urgent overnight flight to Prince's Paisley Park estate in Minnesota, but it was too late.

The doctor's son, Andrew Kornfeld, was with the group that discovered Prince's body on April 21, according to the newspaper, which cited William Mauzy, a Minneapolis attorney whom the newspaper said is working with the Kornfelds.

so, this was quite obviously an opioid OD

Prince did not OD out of sadness or being a drug addict. He mixed prescription drugs that were prescribed to him by doctors and took the doses they told him to take.

All Prince did was follow his doctors orders.

The doctors who prescribed him his medication are ultimately at fault for not realizing that mixing the two medications he was being told to take created a deadly poisonous cocktail.

How do you know this? Autopsy not complete yet.

He was scheduled to see an addiction doctor the day after his death.

yeah, but he had people who gave him their own drugs.....and why would he have more than one doctor ?

he was an addict, who cheated to get more drugs

Pinsky said the singer's respiratory distress was likely due to a “combination of oral opiates and Benzodiazepines,” which is “extraordinarily dangerous.”

“[It] stops you from breathing and you die,” the addiction specialist said of mixing painkillers with the anti-anxiety medication. “It’s easy for that to happen with that combination, even as prescribed.”

.....

“Even if it ends up being drugs that caused him to stop breathing, I would put it more in the accident category than the addiction category. But still, an otherwise healthy middle-aged man with hip pain should not be on opiates chronically. Period.”

If I had to put money on it, I would bet he was abusing one or more prescriptions, and taking more than prescribed.

But, I kinda hope it was just a regular xanax scrip mixed with a regular hydrocodone scrip...people need to know just because a doctor allows you take these drugs, doesn't mean they should be taken lightly.

Ramsey, Minnesota (CNN)Toxicology tests for Prince concluded that the entertainer died from an accidental overdose of the opioid fentanyl, according to a report on his death by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.

Fentanyl, prescribed by doctors for cancer treatment, can be made illicitly and is blamed for a spike in overdose deaths in the United States. It's 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin and 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

:wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

wow

that drug is basically used for cancer patients in their final days...and Prince was popin it...how could he not know that would kill him?
