It has been damn boring, there isn't a series that really jumps out and is must watch tv. Hopefully I am wrong, Dal/Okc and Indy/Tor look promising.

I'm also not exactly sure what is supposed to be impressive about the first round of the playoffs...it's the first round. The first round is always mostly a bore fest...you're just salty because your team is a bottom feeder.

First round is a lot of times exciting af, first taste of playoffs basketball and at least 1 game every night? Heaven. It's just most of the games this year have been very one sided, hope that changes.

The major issue is the 7 game series vs 5 game series in the past. This makes upsets almost impossible having to win 4 without HC advantage vs grabbing 3 with some luck.

There's also no need to see top seeded teams beat up on lesser teams in that many games.

7 game series are fine, upsets still happen. Almost every year the most exciting series basketball-wise is in the first round. This year is anomalous because the top 4 in the West are so much better than the bottom 4 and everyone still thinks the East is boring and doesn't know the teams as well because of all the mediocrity in years past. Also, sometimes series don't get exciting til game 3 when they switch cities.
