View Full Version : How concerned should the Warriors be?

after dropping a game (possibly 2) to the rockets. Having a series extend like this can wear a team down and set up for an upset in the later rounds. Thoughts?

A 5 game series is by no means a long series

It took Curry sitting out, Draymond and Klay having awful games, and a last second shot by James Harden for the Rockets to beat the Warriors by 1.... at home.

I'm sure Golden State fans are sleeping just fine.

Wrong question. We should be asking how concerned the Rockets must be, they lucked out tonight

The Rockets are not concerned. They have no expectations and are playing with house money

Curry is resting so no wear and tear on their best player.

He'll be in top shape for later rounds.

Time to blow the Rockets up, on and off the court.

New jersey designs too, I hate looking at them

Name me one example of this.. this NEVER happens.

If anything they seem more secure and hardened for the situation.

Look at the 2012 Spurs sweeping everything and then suddenly losing to OKC in 6.
Look at the 2013 Spurs going 6 against GSW and then sweeping the WCF.

Houston should have just taken the L lmaaao

Now they gotta fly back to Cali for the inevitable Game 5 elimination

Gotta love it.

The Warriors play a miserable game, with the Klay and Dray playing about as poorly as they can. They spot the Rockets a 17 point lead. They miss FTs. They are easily outrebounded (mainly because Bogut was in foul trouble the minute he stepped on the floor...and played 15 minutes.) Harden had a great game. Kerr should have started the hack-a-howard about 15 minutes earlier.

And with all of that, they had the lead late, and lost in the last two seconds by one point.

Now, you could certainly argue that they would have won with Curry, but let's not act like that would have been any guarantee, either. Hell, the '01 Lakers lost an OT game against the Sixers, with a HEALTHY squad,...en route to a 15-1 record.

But even if Houston somehow puts together back-to-back miracles in games without Curry...they still have to win two more games, and at least one of them at Golden State.

If I am Kerr I rest GAC until he is really needed. IMO, they will win this series easily, and I honestly believe that they could beat the Clippers without GAC, as well.

The interesting series will be against the Spurs. Even with a healthy GAC, they might not beat SA.

Glass Ankle Curry.

Appropriate. Just as appropriate as the ridiculous AMC moniker.
