Clippers won't get deep in the playoffs without vets like Pierce and Prigioni getting used more. Austin Rivers and Wesley Johnson are far too feast or famine to be getting significant run in the postseason.

Garnett has that connection with Thibs because of the days in Boston, I see him running out his contract next season and then possibly taking a coaching position under Thibs

Assumptions are Garnett will come back for his last season because of Thibs coming. Which I'm fine with. He can help further develop KAT, which he seems to have helped with immensely this season.

Not only is Thibs now in charge on Minny, but KG got another 8m sitting there if he stays and watches court side games 2/3 of the season. Trust me, KG is no David West.

KG will play one more season because of Thibs.
