What is going on with this guy? I thought he was your standard big, athletic, high-energy hustler guy. Like a Kenneth Faried type with a bit less athleticism but a bit more size. Good for a putback dunk or a nice block every once in a while and will consistently get you boards.

Then tonight he drops a 2 point double double (10 assists 14 boards). He had a MONSTER game 3, 21 boards and 9 dimes, and did well G2 @LAC as well.

Where is this coming from? This isn't the guy I expected to dish out 10 assists in a playoff game.

He's the smartest player on the team. He's also super athletic. He and Lillard have worked out a nice little cut along the baseline play that usually results in an easy bucket. He's been a competent passer all year long.

Clippers are paying so much attention to Lillard now that Plumlee is getting the ball even more off the trap. He makes good decisions.

It's great when a center is facilitating, just due to the nature of centers being the closest situated to the basket.

LAC decides trap Damn and Plumlee becomes Draymond basically. Helps that the Blazers have a bunch of great finishers.

Pretty much this. The clippers are constantly trapping and double teaming lillard and CJ with deandre jordan or another big man, which leaves plumdog wide open at the top of the key. From there, plumlord is just hitting open three point shooters and cutters.

The new positionless basketball phenomenon has given smart big men a lot of opportunities to be facilitators.

He was already a terrific passer in the RS in limited minutes (close to 3apg if im not wrong)
