kind of a blessing in disguise for GSW. I think GSW can beat them without Blake and CP3 and gives time for curry to recover.

Nothing to disguise there at all. Just a straight up blessing.

Blessing in disguise for the CLIPPERS

Griffin was doing jackshit the whole series. Clippers are actually a better team without him

If Clippers can hold down home court and win in 7 and CP3 can get back for Game 3 vs the Warriors they have a shot at making the WCF

no pun intended

Don't count out the Blazers.

kinda ****ed up that CP3 is done for the year. whatever you feel about the guy. you cant deny that he's an ultimate competitor and always gives 110% whenever he's on the court.i wish him the best

I dislike his attitude and his flopping ways
But I'll put that aside to say he's a competitor at minimum

This is just sad.

Chris worked so hard all season, carrying this team on his back without Blake. What he did this season was the definition of what an MVP is. I don't think any player in the league was more valuable to their team this year.

He did everything just to get them to a top seed and back in the playoff picture after a rough start...only to get injured in the 1st round.

I'm 100% convinced he is cursed. Hope he recovers well.

I wish I was cursed to be worth 100 mill plus and play in the nba for a living

Tbh Blake wasn't that big of a loss. The Clippera are definitely better with him but the drop off without him isn't that big. Plus he wasn't playing up to par anyway.

But that truly sucks for CP3. He carried that team to the 4th seed and had a good chance to make the Finals but fate must not want the dude to win.

Slow down there. What curse did he have last year? When he blew a 3-1 lead to the mighty Rockets? :biggums:
The year before when he melted down in the pivotal game 5 against OKC trying to draw 3 foul shots? :biggums:

I also hope he recovers though  Anytime stars miss time in the playoffs is a shitty feeling

Disappointed in this. Was looking forward to seeing how the Warriors would do against the Clippers without Curry. I don't see the Clippers having any chance now with or without him. In fact, the Blazers might even get it done, both in the first round and WCSF.

I'd offer a gentlemen's bet if I didn't have one already. Upping this blasphemy after all is said and done will have to suffice.

That sucks all around. That's the only thing that sucks about playoff basketball, all the injuries to key players. Its life though. Cavs got it last year. This year its Curry and Clippers.

Not a fan, but I feel bad for both players and their fans. The only time I ever wished injury on someone was when they were playing ahead of Jimmer, and I only wished it for a week or two so that Jimmer could get 35+ minutes for about 5-7 games to see what he could do...still shameful.

The Clippers were legitimate contenders.

You're overlooking the simple fact that it's almost certain that the Blazers will now win in 6 or 7 and play GS.

This season showed that for this team, CP3 is measurably more valuable than BG. On a different team with a different scheme, BG might be but not on this one. CP3 is one of the biggest difference makers in history. He's got the type of overall, impactful game on both ends that can turn any team in history into a .500 team.

Just a shame. That window was opened a bit wider with Curry's injury and now this happens.

These ****ers should proof-read.

They labeled steals "assists" at the end.

The author was probably too emotionally distraught by knowing his franchise became a 13th seed in the West overnight to compose a professional press release
