What a shitty thread

Obviously Pau.. You could argue that he is above Kobe on the all time basketball list (not just NBA). Dominating for Spain and all

What a shitty post.

worse Playoff record? check.
0-16 in the Playoffs as the lead guy on 40-50-win teams in Memphis? check.
spanked by Kobe-led US teams in the Olympics? check.

How you gonna put someone that scored 10 less points a game for the Playoffs in 3 Finals runs next to Kobe even close to him all-time? :biggums:

Pau obviously was a beast for LAL but damn, Odom was a perfect fit for a Kobe team and he played awesome for the majority of his time there

It's not JUST about points

Kobe dwarfs Pau in accolades...

All-NBA 1st teams
Defensive 1st teams
MVP
5 titles
Pau didn't win a SINGLE Playoff game as the lead guy, he got swept in every series in Memphis, he got SWEPT by the Spurs in 2013 with Dwight Howard on his team, the same team that had the 2nd best record post-ASB because Kobe played almost every minute of those games

Couldn't even make the Playoffs in the Eastern Conference with a healthy Butler, Rose and Mirotic

There's no case to be made for him to be anywhere close to Kobe, or even top 30 all-time..
