View Full Version : The bloodbath that is the Beastern Conference

6th seed about to backdoor sweep the 3rd seed. 7th seed about to take the 2nd seed to 7 games. 8th seed making it the most competitive first round sweep ever. So. Many. Elite. Teams.

Bloodbath.

best series since Lakers-Kings 2002 IMO.

Spurs m8

Its not a Beastern Conference because they don't have any true title contenders.

The teams are just more even, on a shitter level to the Top Tier of the West.

Cheers!

Agreed. 4-0 tells just half the story, as the Pistons could easily have won 3 out of 4 games.

Definitely! The Hornets vs. Heat game was one for the ages. So many lead changes, so much drama, so much hectic, close until the end. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors having an absolute cakewalk against the Houston Rockets, without their star player.

Healthy Warriors, Spurs, OKC sweep every one.
Cavs maybe one win game.

OKC maybe drop 2 to Cavs.

Thats all

You are correct, not much has changed within the Beasteren conference. It was a bloodbath, and it still is a bloodbath. What's changed however is the western conference, which has gotten noticeably weaker. 41-41 = playoffs. Absolutely pathetic. A total outrage.

The main problem with the east is that there are no superstars besides Lebron, and he plays on a team that is so good that one of his teammates is arguably better than anybody on their opponents team every series. It's boring, it's predictable.

4/5 of the top MVP candidates play in the west and people enjoy watching superstars battle it out.

We have 3/4 best player in the league playing in the WCF.

We have Lebron and Kyrie + Love vs a team missing their starting center who feature a backcourt that scores with the efficiency of a 37 year old Kobe and can barely break 100 points.

Somebody from the cavs would have to die in order for the raptors to take two games.

Meanwhile, there is the feeling that OKC could possibly win the series against the GOAT regular season team due to OKC's two amazing superstars.

That is exciting, that is unpredictable.

I don't see how any of this refutes what's I said :lol :confusedshrug:

Lowry is averaging 18ppg on 37%..

He's nowhere close to KD, Curry, WB

The west is more exciting because that's where all the superstars are.
