Down 3-2 to the least talented team in the East playoffs by a mile. Impressive.

They are pretty talented, I would say Pacers cause they only got PG13

And Monta Ellis, and Myles Turner, George Hill used to be somewhat decent.

Hornets had the 3rd best record in the ASSOCIATION since February but keep in mind that they also had a good start and were 3rd in the East in Nov. The idea that the Hornets lack talent needs to be squashed because they could easily be the ECF opponent to Cleveland.

Agreed, Miami is the worst team in the East playoffs.

Not looking good for them right now.

On the other hand, Steve Clifford had done a great job. While everyone on ISH had a hard on for Brad Stevens, Clifford has a worse roster and probably going to take them to the 2nd round and may even go all the way to the ECF... and still doesn't get the recognition.

He had Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for like 7 games this season and Jefferson missed a good 30+ too.

what they have done is impressive especially considering the first two games of the series.

 I like that most people give the Hornets zero props. It's keeping them hungry.

They get props for being up 3-2. Especially after the start they had in the series. But they aren't a talented team. They're a team full of 3rd and 4th options that are well-coached.

people really don't pay attention but if they did they would have noticed that Charlotte is a quality team. They had a good start and were 3rd in the east in Nov and they also had the 3rd best record in the entire league from February on. That isn't a joke

To be honest I kinda expect them to fizzle out against a team like the heat who has a great go-to player in the clutch. Kinda like how the Hawks and Raptors do year after year.

I guess it helps to have three off the dribble creators playing heavy minutes at crunchtime.

Most overrated team since LeBron left, even worse when Bosh is playing. The 'veteran' factor is wayyyyy overstated, other than Wade none of the players has actually made significant contributions in the playoffs.

People just in their minds want to will them to make a run because they want to discredit LeBron's contributions to the Heat.

doesn't make sense. hornets are clearly a better team than the pacers. pacers just had one of the most epic meltdowns in recent memory.

They had the raptors dead in the water in canada...game 6 to close it out at home...now its pretty much a 7 game series with the raptors being the confident ones and most likely to advance.smh

Hornets are a top 10 offense and defense team this year. Theyre actually pretty good but people are gonna indirectly throw hate their way because they dont like the Heat. Whether it be former bandwagon fans less than two years removed from rooting for us to fans of other teams that got their asses blown out from us in the playoffs a couple of seasons back. the hate was always and was only festering and waiting for an opportunity to come out

expected behavior from the NBA forum actually

Finished the season 24-8.

I'm amazed how many people think they are a joke. But then OP never really did understand the game.
