What motivation does this guy have to stay in Miami? Bosh and Wade are done. Goran Dragic is locked in to the worst max contract in the league. This team is going nowhere.

Whiteside's people are looking at LAL as the ideal destination for Whiteside this summer. Not only are they a young, talented team, but Whiteside will have a chance to become the next great Lakers bigman and learn under the tutelage of Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

For a player of Whiteside's ambition, that is too good to pass up.

The man was born to be a Laker:rockon:

he needs to leave miami and find teammates who will actually pass him the ball. Mavs would be a great place considering they're unselfish.

Players like Magic and Worthy have said that D'Angelo is the most gifted passer of his generation.

You stated that Magic and Worthy said he the greatest passer since Magic but you find a quote from Pitino........:facepalm

Well, they say it on the local Lakers pregame and postgame show.

So you'll have to watch to hear it for yourself

Just because Pitino doesn't understand the difference between a behind the back pass and stabbing someone in the back, does NOT mean D'Slow is Magic.

Pitino is one of the greatest basketball minds of all time. Respek his name.

Whiteside going to the Lakers would actually make sense. He is a low IQ basketball player and would fit in well with all of the other low IQ's that LA has collected.

I'm sure Whiteside is dying to the sign with the Lakers, the same team that passed up signing him for Wayne Ellington.

Also, Jim Buss!

I don't see him wanting to remain on a heat team with no Chris Bosh and old D-wade and max contract Dragic who is stuck there for 4 more seasons.

If Whiteside has ambition to be a great player-which he does considering how much he works at improving his game, he's coming to LAL to become history's next great Laker big.

Whiteside's people are looking at anywhere but LAL as the ideal destination for Whiteside this summer. The lakers are a young, BUM team, and Whiteside will have a chance to go anywhere besides LA and become the next great bigman and learn under the tutelage of many great centers.

For a player of Whiteside's ambition, he would be a fool to go to LA.

The man was born to be a anything but a laker:rockon:

I don't want to see Howard or Whiteside playing for Mavs next year .

His performances the past 3 games have a lot to do with Miami's struggles. His defense has been atrocious. Don't know how much his injruy has to do with it, but he needs to step up, dominate defensively, and give Wade some relief on offense (because Dragic has been a complete dud).

Oh, and there's far more reasons to stay in Miami than to go to the shitty Lakers.

If Miami loses this series Dragic is definitely getting traded.

I say bring him home to the Hornets (dude grew up just south of here). Let Big Al and Ewing teach him some old school post moves.

No team wants his contract dude. Who is going to trade for him? He's an anchor weighing the team down for the next 4 years.

Riley will find a buyer.

He got someone to take old and fat Shaq's contract.

WTF that scrub roleplayer is on a max? Is he Lebron's BFF or something? So the Cavs have 4 Max contract players and they still suck?

I would say there is no way to determine where Russell will be in next few years in terms of comparison. He was a rookie, playing for Bryan Scott. Bryan Scott did nothing to help develop Russell.

He still could flame out and be worse than Lowry. He could, after working with Magic and a good work ethic end up being one of the better PG's in the league. The point is, I think it is way to early to say if he will be a good, bad, or great PG.

if we were to look at Rookie stats and play, look no further than Whiteside. No one would have guessed he would be this good.
