Yeah, the new era Lara Croft (from the 2013 reboot and this year Rise of the Tomb Raider game) is now average and bland.

Early on reports were saying the actress from the new star wars was the front runner, which would also be a good choice for new age Lara.

Angelina Jolie had the perfect look for it. She was just literally how you would imagine Lara Croft. At least for me.
