We all know they had an insane cakewalk to the title last year. Literally not playing one team that was remotely healthy. Which sadly forever diminished their asterisk title. But this year they got the ball rolling by actually soundly defeating a team that was somewhat healthy. Is this the year they legitimately play real teams and win a title?

Yeah it is. Luckily it seems like they will finally need to play fully-stacked SA and Cleveland at least, so this ring will be very earned if they get it. Anyone complaining about Portland being an easier draw than LAC is just grasping at straws though. They were going to obliterate the Clippers, with or without Steph, just as they did Houston.

The only teams that matter in terms of health as it relates to GSW asterisks are the Spurs once they dispose of OKC in 5 with ease, and of course LeChrist's Cavs. If those two teams have all their assets available to them, yet this Warriors knife still cuts through them like butter... it's time to properly acknowledge this team no matter how much Curry's supporting cast props him up.

Curry is playing at a 10 all-time right now even considering how much historically insane help he has behind him. If they beat THIS Spurs team, and THIS Cavs team, both healthy, along with 73 wins... I mean, what more do you want?

As a team, GSW is about as well put together as you can get, though Lacob's comical remarks about how ahead of the curve they are as a front office is just hysterical. Dude, you tried to TRADE STEPH, got bailed out of a would-be all-time idiotic blunder, and now you're talking about being ahead of the curve. He and Kerr's arrogance makes me root against this team, which is why Cavs in 6 will be so enjoyable, but you can't argue with the actual team. Curry is THAT good, and so is the rest of the team.

I think so yeah. I'm not calling Steve Kerr a bad guy, I'd love him to coach my team any day. I just think he's also a smug shyt. :lol It's more demeanor than anything that makes me say that, but he has made a few somewhat arrogant comments in the press throughout this year pertaining to their dominance. Not that he should dance around it like the average coach, but because I hate and actively root against GSW it pisses me off more. :lol

But yeah, Curry's supporting cast borders on top 1 all-time. Nbd.

I think Steph has one of the better supporting casts, but people are going a little crazy on how good they really are (I'm not including leStans, they're just idiots). There is no way this team plays as well as they are right now over an extended period of time. For a short burst knowing that if they play to their at a very high level, Curry is back sure. Over an extended period of time is another story. Many teams play at a high level for a short time when something happens to their star, it's a common occurrence.

Spurs still have the best overall team if you remove their superstar IMO when you include their depth. There's probably been about 30-35% of games for GS where the bench squad has squandered a large lead during regular season where the team needed to raise the tempo again.

Can't blame Kerr for being arrogant. Played with GOATs and the GOAT, got coached by two GOAT coaches, has likely one of the GOAT players whose the GOAT shooter and possibly one of the GOAT teams finishing with the GOAT regular season. Lots of goats in this equation. :pimp:

The Warriors have arguably the best supporting cast of all-time. Don't fool yourself. But I agree that Curry is the most important part and his role cant be diminished. But don't get it twisted. They're one of the best supporting casts ever.
