I'm drunk but I can't recall an all-star duo both choking it up in the playoffs so consistently over the course of a long series.

Me neither. Keep in mind these are dudes who put up really ****ing good numbers in the regular season.

I seriously can't name a duo that fall/fell off so much in the playoffs.

The league need to deprive them of their all star honor.

To be fair, they're facing elite perimeter defense.

Lowry's playoff horrifics are inexplicable, a guy like DeRozan? Sure, those tend to falter... but Lowry's game doesn't even have that many holes.

He is having elbow issues I think. Still, his struggles are shocking.

Worst "allstar" backcourt of alltime

they've relied heavily on Cory Joseph during the playoffs, he's playing off of them as a PG, and he's matched up with Rodney Stuckey.

if Cory can make those mid-range jumpers consistently, both those players become hard to guard. Defensively with the rebounding edge, they can go through the Eastern Conference forcing opponents to play a style they aren't comfortable with.

Lowry can keep opposing defense on edge, he can make you make small adjustments and opens up players who doesn't need a lot of spacing to create.

Derozan can grab rebounds and draw fouls, he's ability to score in the paint makes his defense valuable, and the Raptors big man to help controlling possession, is a lot up to how Coaches look at second chance points. They take away teams pick n rolls quite easily, and they also can help in the paint.

They rely on players to be built around them, but they are also good enough to help the team focus, by getting players playing at a comfortable pace they've played before.

After he came back from his injury he shot pretty much just as bad so maybe his elbow just still isn't right. It's still pretty shocking though. At least he's able to do other stuff. Derozan...

That championship experience/Spurs pedigree right there

the players saw something in him, he's a better passer than maybe they expected.

whether or not he can keep the dribble for a broken down second play/third play, is how the front office expect the next move.

Raps are a decent regular season team, but are terrible come playoffs.
