Melo - out of playoffs
Harden - losing to GSW without Curry
Durant and Westbrook - getting spanked

Why are teams continuing to overpay these ball dominant iso scorers?

Doesn't work! Sad!

This is the beginning of the second era of the TEAMs.

High usage low percentage chuckers will always put butts in the seats. That's why these types continue to earn the big bucks.

Not every team has title ambitions.

Durant isn't ball dominant.

Kobe would dominate this league too

Teams are still getting use to this style of play. When the Spurs beat the shit out of the Heat in 2014 it put teams on notice.

On another note, watching Donovan vs Pop right now is hilarious. Like watching Shaq vs. Dudley

Teams always win.

But yes, it is satisfying in a karmic basketball sense to watch a top heavy team with no coherent offensive system get dismantled by a team that actually plays together. All is right in the world.

It's funny how you left out Curry.

For now... eventually there will be another ACTUAL MJ level individual in terms of the ability to score... and the cycle will repeat and a bunch of guys that think they're great will cycle through afterwards. We haven't seen anyone come close despite what a bunch of trolls on this board would have you believe.

If you think curry is a ball dominant iso scorer, you're a retard. Curry couldn't go to any team in the league and produce the same results. Ball dominant iso scorer is not his game.

Oh so he wouldn't be as good if you place him on the Magic? That's why LeBron will always be better than him.

Correct and agreed.
