if you will go with team records and success. Curry & Leonard are best two now as their teams are best two.

But in now is Leonard better then Durant or Lebron.

Factoring in his absolutely HOF-level defensive ability, I think he is better than KD at this point as an individual player. Kawhi is finally legitimately elite offensively and clearly the best in the game defensively.

It's funny how Kawhi is a top 3-4 player for SURE in today's game.

Meanwhile, Pippen was better in every way except 3-point shooting, but was only considered a top 5 player for 1 or 2 seasons of his career, and that's looking at his career under the very best light.

That's how much better the players were in previous eras.

That list showed WING players.

So point guards weren't included unless they were big PG's like Kidd/Hardaway/Payton/Westbrook.

Or Iverson, since he was considered a "wing" player

This GIF would be a lot better if LeBron didnt destroy them in game 6

But he didn't - Lebron needed Ray Allen to save him in Game 6 against Popovich/Duncan

http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/10-05-2015/XxRuyC.gif

Naturally, Jordan MADE his walk-off attempt in his first meeting against Duncan/Popovich (from the exact same spot as Lebron's miss) to send the game into overtime:

http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/10-05-2015/rP-QUs.gif

After hitting the walk-off, MJ dominated overtime, including 2 dunks over Duncan:

https://media.giphy.com/media/26FPq7nUqs2V8LyNO/giphy.gif

In his 2nd meeting against Duncan, MJ dominated Duncan even more thoroughly:

It's obvious that Jordan only ever DOMINATED Duncan and guys like Duncan - they weren't "rivals" like they are for Kobe and Lebron..

That was a young Duncan and then he won the chip after MJ saw the writing on the wall. At the end of the day, Ray Ray's fluke shot is the only thing keeping GOATcan from 6/6. He will still get #6 soon and be forever enshrined in the top 5 of all time.

Ray Ray's fluke shot saved Lebron from being a laughing stock 1-6, and nowhere NEAR Bird/Hakeem level

Both of those are also true, but doesn't change the fact that Jordan knew Duncan was coming and that he'd be unanimous top 5 right now if not for the GOAT bailout.

Ofcourse, he has been top 2 there for Spurs for a while, just not a clear #1 yet, just when he had his chance as Duncan/Parker decreased this Aldridge dude came along and messed that up, as you saw last night.
