Why would Durant go to LA? If he goes somewhere else, wouldn't he pick a team that has a better chance at contending than OKC?

Depends who we draft and what pieces we pick up from free agency. Being big market and getting Ref love doesn't hurt. I expect we pick up at least one of Durant/westbrook/whiteside next year, possibly 2

Durant is coming to the Spurs, baby. Can't beat 'em, join 'em. Duncan will take vet minimum and retire with 11 chips like Bill Russell.
