Dubs' D looking much better without that defensive liability Curry AKA Young Swiss Cheese. Lillard will be kept in check today. :applause:

He may give them a push midway thru the game. But theyll still be down double digits.

blazers bruh
their back court height averages 6'3''
that may have been common for the 90's but not for today
klay is a mismatch for these shorter guards

Small ball is the name of the game today. Draymond is your squad's PF and the muhphucka is 6'7" and wouldn't know what to do in the post.
Not GSW's fault they are playing in a joke of an era. All they can do is take care of who's in front of them. Seems like most teams in the playoffs are fielding shells of their squads. Portland in terms of talent should be a lottery team, lost their franchise player last year. GSW is without their franchise player.
Whaddyagonnado? You play the cards you've been dealt.

small ball is defined as having multiple players that are 6'6''ish that can all handle and pass the ball and defend multiple positions
small ball doesn't mean you have a midget 1 and undersized 2 like portland has
if you are going to ignore the fact that chris paul and blake griffin got injured in the same game in a one in a thousand instance, and that is the reason why we are seeing this portland team in the semis, then you are just trolling

You play 6'6" or 6'7" dudes as PFs or even Cs... You're playing small ball.

Dubs can't help that they are playing in a weak era against shells of teams. They are doing what great teams are supposed to do in that situation- blowing the opposition the f*ck out. And all that without the B2B league MVP. :applause:

I thought you were saying that blazers were playing small ball....
and I said that just cause lillard and mcollum are small as fucc that doesnt make it small ball, that just makes you playing 2 undersized guards that is a defensive liability

this years spurs is better than any Bulls team ever.
The bulls were, as 3ball puts it, jordan, pippen, and a handful of interchangeable stiffs.
Finals are up early next round.

your league strength argument is absurd, the 90's expansion nba was a joke; jordan never had to deal with top heavy teams like the 70 win spurs in his own conference, or even in the finals for that matter

You can argue until you're blue about how we got to the pathetic state of the league, but the truth is a lottery level team is in the second round of the playoffs getting blown out by a team missing the league MVP. This is following the pattern of grossly noncompetitive, blowout preseason scrimmage level games.
This is not debatable. The product we're seeing right now is straight trash. Anyone who argues that is just lying to themselves. But maybe constant 30 and 40 point blowouts are a sign of competitiveness in the small ball era.

Bruh, when did the Spurs win 70 games? Stop bullshitting the public.
When the Bulls won 72, the Sonics won 64 and the Magic won 60. So there's 3 70 win teams from one season. :oldlol:

What isn't debatable? The fact that you wouldn't see the team that you are bitching about if it wasn't for the fact of a freak accident of not one but TWO injuries to LA's superstars

Spurs 2016 SRS: 10.28 (2nd of 30)
Sonics 1996 SRS: 7.40 (2nd of 29)
Magic 1996 SRS: SRS: 5.40 (5th of 29)

Portland is not a lottery level team at all. They are a good coached team with a lot of players who performed great over this season. Give them some credit.
And don't forget that they blew out GSW on the road with Curry playing.
