Warriors have another cakewalk in the pathetic west. Golden State in 4, with or without Curry.

Now try to imagine if they played against the East. It'd be like playing agains the D-League.

Goes to show you just how weak of an era this is. You have shells of teams, missing key players battling it out in the later rounds of the playoffs. Portland has lottery level talent, yet here they are in the second round getting blown out of the water by a team missing the supposed unanimous league MVP. :facepalm

Except I despise LeBron. Therefore, your attempt at trying to be funny failed miserably. Better luck next time!

I think you truly believe this, which is shocking. You're heart is in the right place, but your brain, unfortunately, isn't cooperating. The West isn't weak, the Warriors are just STACKED to the gills along with key injuries impacting things (CP3, BG). First round also would of been a lot more competitive if not for injuries (Mavs, Grizz, etc).

Era nonsense is also a joke. Like the Pistons, Lakers, etc didn't benefit from injury riddled conferences at times to win some of their chips/make the finals.

I actually think these guys believe themselves too LOL

Imagine being friends with these people and having to listen to them spout this shit IRL LOL

Wouldn't be surprised if they pull their d*cks out mid game tbh

Allow me to educate you nitwits:
- The Houston Rockets made the playoffs with a record of 41 and 41 - a record that would be good for the 11 seed out East. Their two 'star players' hate each other, and one of them is literally the worst defender in the history of the league. The other one, is the biggest drama queen in the league sans LeBron James.
- The Memphis Grizzlies played twenty-eight, TWENTY-EIGHT, 28(!!!) players in a regular season, due to injuries. They made the playoffs. In those playoffs, their startling lineup consisted of Jordan Farmar (who was out of the league), the corpse of Vince Carter, Tony Allen who couldn't dribble to save his life and 48 year old Chris Andersen. Yikes.
- The Dallas Mavericks made the playoffs with one and a half decent players. Dirk Nowitzki, a bunch of injured players and scrubs. They even managed to steal a game, against one of the ''contenders''.
- The 5 seeded Blazers lost 4 of their 5 starters the summer prior. Not only did they manage to improve seeding wise, they also advanced to the next round. Amazing! What a bloodbath the west is.
- The Oklahoma City Thunder, a team with ''two of the top five players and a so called 'contender''', lost more 4th quarter leads than any team in the entire league. This includes the 10-72 Philadelphia 76ers. Wow, such contenders. I can't believe how tremendously strong the Western Conference is.

WCF's with a Curry-less Warrior team at 9-0 vs the Spurs at 8-0.

Epic.

Your team played an NCAA Division III worthy team in the playoffs.

You played OKC, a team that had more 4th quarter meltdowns than you have on this forum. OKC, a team that does nothing but playing hero ball, and two of their players taking turns shooting contested 3's. One of those two is actually a <30% 3 point shooter. Therefore, they are a terrible team.

Hold this eternal L.

Uncle Drew
05-01-2016, 06:24 PM
Cool fact about the contenders OKC: they lost 12 of their 30 games against the ''weak'' east. They lost 15 of their 52 games against the ''stacked'' west.

the Warriors are just STACKED to the gills
Funny how this same Warriors team wasn't so stacked prior to the 14/15 season start when they were projected second round exit at best, but now that they've been blitzing the league for 2 years they are. The word "stacked" is so stupid, it essentially mans "a team that wins a lot".

Players never improve or get better apparently in your mind. Are you saying 2014 Curry, Klay, etc are the same players they are now? If so, I suppose we will whoop them in the play offs like we did back in those days.

From a mediocre non-factor team to the best team in the league in a few months is quite an improvement, is it not? So if this same trash Sixers team miraculously wins 60+ next season are they "stacked"?
Being stacked and being one of only 2 teams in the entire league that aren't playing garbage basketball are 2 vastly different things.
