NBA Comparison: Luke Harangody/Jared Dudley

Strengths: The ultimate "Glue Guy", Green's strongest asset is his ability to contribute across the board ... He has a substantial wingspan with a strong frame, and is unafraid to bang with bigger bodies ... Good-looking shooter when his feet are set and he catches/releases in rhythm ... Can stretch the floor with NBA 3-point range ... His vision, passing and ability to facilitate out of the post make it difficult for off-ball defenders to keep their eyes on their man and the ball at the same time ... Reliable mid-range jumper ... Green is slippery with his back to the basket, with the ability to spin baseline or turn across the lane for the finish ... Terrific rebounder thanks to the combination of an aggressive motor and soft hands ... Unselfish and timely passer ... Overachiever. High basketball IQ ... Makes those around him better, possesses sense of maturity and leadership qualities ...

Weaknesses: One of those great college basketball players that doesn't excel in any one particular area ... Tweener, undersized for a physical forward yet lacks the athleticism of a wing ... Lacks explosiveness, agility, elusiveness and quickness off the bounce ... Under the rim finisher, which is troublesome when you consider his size ... Not a threat to shake his defender off the dribble ... Minimal upside ... Vulnerable defending quicker guards on the perimeter ... Could stand to drop some weight ...

Overall: The Big-Ten Player of the Year, Green has a number of likeable qualities, but not one specific skill that a team may be seeking ... He's a low-risk/low-reward pick considering his role-player potential and ability to fit in ... His ceiling dances around the mid-20s, where a playoff can use him right away to compliment its better players ...

- Jonathan Wasserman 5/14/12

He was a 4th year college player, finished the season averaging 16/10/4, and was Big 10 player of the year. Makes you wonder wtf GM's were thinking letting this guy drop to the 2nd round. Strengths are on point but comparison is :wtf:

Draymond balling tonight, tho. Draymond balling tonight.

Hit a three as I finished this post. :applause:

his height gave him the tweener label which is the kiss of death for a draft prospect

draymond has said that scouts initially asked "who is he going to guard?" as they thought he couldn't guard anyone due to him supposedly being too short for the front court and too slow for perimeter players, ironically he ended up being able to guard everyone on the floor

NBA gms never cease to amaze me with how stupid they can be when it comes to evaluating college seniors.

one of the GOAT drafts for a single team though

Yea, but look at his Comparison :lol

Some of his weaknesses are unwarranted as well.

To the guy who said "seeing how he wasn't shit his 1st year", maybe that's because he wasn't given a fair chance? As soon as they let him play, he looked good and delivered.

lol teams don't draft basketball players, they draft low IQ idiots that can jump high and run fast.

Then you have the most dumbest untalented league in decades, where you have to make ridiculous rules changes so that players can actually score, where teams that actually draft and sign basketball players that actually play in a system are so much better is ludicrous.

Everyone else is a dummy PG ballhogging and 4 idiots behind the 3pt line ready to shoot.

Let's be honest, if he was on a shitty team nobody would even know who he is.

This Warriors squad is a perfect fit for him.

And he is perfect for them.

Face it, the Warriors before Green was a starter were a 2nd round team. Fun, entertaining team, Klay and Steph were shooting lights out. But David Lee wasn't gonna cut it. cut it. cut it.

Draymond completes the team, pretty evident especially if you've been watching this playoffs.

Go back and watch him play in '13-'14. He was overweight and not nearly the ball handler he is now. Also, 4 year players generally don't have the huge jump in skills that he's had. I'm grateful for it but I won't act like I expected him to be a DPOY runner-up when Blake and DJ were destroying him and DLee in '14.

What the hell....is this guy serious? :lol

Why the hell you copying Stalker? You can't seriously be jealous of the attention he gets from the rest of the board...c

That scout deserves a raise :applause:

but come on, his development is extremely rare and he had the perfect team for his developed skills, not every GM can predict that.
