No, they actually just hate black people (and other minorities) for the color of their skin. You can be a doctor, lawyer, businessman, professor, PRESIDENT OF THE US, etc. and they still hate you. It just makes it easier to pretend its because the group in question are "undesirables".

Case in point, the below article about Fox News running a story on Malia Obama's acceptance into Harvard. It takes a special kind of diseased mind to post these things about an 18 year old girl who in pretty much every way has carried herself in a respectable fashion in public. Is Malia a "thug"? On welfare? "Ghetto"? Nope. The truth is that racists hate people solely because of the color of their skin, regardless of content of character.

Now think about the fact that some of these cowards may be police, supervisors, directors, teachers, etc. You know, people with the ability to negatively impact someone's life and you might get an idea about why it's not just "whining" when people talk about racism and its continuing impact on society.

However, I must admit that the fact that so many racists gravitate to a board about a sport that is primarily built up of blacks fascinates me. The fact that they inherited the institution of slavery and a dependence on said institution doesn't change the many good things about it. It was quite possibly the last non-materialistic civilisation the world has seen, and so it was of course buried in history by the grasping covetousness, greed and self-righteousness, of the victorious North. The way you view and analyse history is anachronistic and ahistorical. It is to the South that America is indebted a Washington, a Jefferson, a Madison, a Monroe, a Marshall, the Pinckneys and Tazewells, Tuckers and Randolphs; only New England comes close in its contribution to the building of America, and the laying of its solid foundations. This article, obviously, isn't reflective of all or even the majority of people in this country. HOWEVER, my main point in all of this was to point out that the idea that racists are "justified" because they only dislike "ghetto" or "undesirable" blacks is nonsense. They don't like blacks PERIOD. It also ties into to the text scandals in San Francisco and Los Angeles (among other places) where DOZENS of officers have been caught saying the most vile, reprehensible things about minorities - likening them to animals, talking about framing them, etc. And they weren't just talking about criminals or "undersirables" they were talking about ALL OF US. And you really expect minority groups in these areas to have a lot of trust in the police when they think there is no difference between myself (a college educated professional with no criminal record) and a gang member? And before you talk about "bad apples", A. In San Fran it as like NINETEEN OFFICERS!!! B. The SFPD declined to prosecute all but I believe a few!! How in the world does that show that the San Fran PD is dedicated to equal treatment for ALL OF ITS CITIZENS? They basically came down on the side of the officers who texted it as opposed to immediately firing all of them! That's what I'd think should be done if black officers texted similar things about whites or other groups. How could white people expect that officer to treat them fairly? How could whites not be nervous if officers from that precinct stopped them on a dark lonely road? But yeah, BLM is a "hate group" comparable to the KKK. What a joke.
