Most overrated "longevity" ever. Being carried by other allstars for nearly a decade now.

His twilight years are super over romanticized by Duncan vampires and the media because he's had stacked teams with the GOAT coach his entire career.

Kobe's 60, 4, 4 in his last game >>>>>>>> than anything Duncan't has done in the past decade.

What do you expect? The man is older than time itself.

It's amazing that the Spurs with a core as old and un-athletic as they have is so successful. The times make the team I suppose.

Just last year he was perhaps the Spurs best player in the playoffs. The fall off this year, especially offensively has been steep. The rebounding and rim protection are still there to an extent, but the shooting is non existent and other forms of defense are pretty iffy as well.

Yeah, this. He was great until 38/39 years old, 17/18 seasons. How is that overrated longevity? Overrated because his offense game finally fell off after 19 years?

He's an old man.

Him being "carried" for his last couple finals appearances is very exaggerated, he was probably the Spurs best player in the the 2013 and 2014 postseasons, but he really declined this year.

He was probably even the best player in our first round series against the Clippers last year, too. I think a lot of it has to do with Aldridge coming aboard and taking more of the scoring load, especially from the high post. Duncan won't be in rhythm like he was previously since he just plain out won't get nearly as many FGA's. I'm sure he can still score more than 2 points and will more than likely shit all over konex here for cursing him.

Tim Duncan is a flat-out joke.. everyone knows it. LOL at people still adding up his ring count as a 5th option on a squad. :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:
