They have a post player in lamarcus. Last few years was only cause duncan was to old to play there full time.

Post play > 3 point chucking. Pop knows that

they are still moving the ball extremely well and the team is still constantly cutting. but when the defense decides to single coverage LMA every single time in the post, theyre gonna relentlessly give him the ball. any coach will ALWAYS go with the highest % offensive look

It's pretty obvious everything the Spurs are doing with their offense is designed around beating the Warriors. Pop knows he's not gonna beat the Warriors playing up tempo, swinging the ball, and shooting lots of 3's... because that plays right into the Warriors hands. Instead, the Spurs now try to slow the pace and dominant the half-court game with mismatch ISO's and post-ups.

Spurs gonna be play-off contending team even after Duncan retires.

Very disappointed in the Spurs during the second half of last night's game!

LaMarcus Aldridge is putting up CAREER NUMBERS against the Thunder's sorry front line and what do they do in the second half? They decide to let Mills and Green start chucking 3's like they were Curry and Thompson to the tune of 4-14!?!?!?!

I don't care what "nerd stats" analytics say, the way Aldridge was going you give him those 14 touches he probably gets 10 or 11 baskets totaling 20+ points giving the Spurs 10+ victory!

That's what analytics don't take into account, THE HOT HAND!!! You milk that until it is absolutely dry, you think any of the great scorers like Kareem, Malone, Jordan, Olajuwon, Shaq or Bird would start letting their teammates launch low percentage shots when they are absolutely DEMOLISHING the opposing team. HELL NO!!!!

Not comparing Aldridge to any of those guys but Jesus Christ he damn sure is getting EVERY SHOT he wants against the Thunder.
