View Full Version : Can someone explain to me how Lebron is not getting any calls?

Lebron's jumper is non-existent and thus is forced to live in the paint, this last game against the Hawk's there were countless occasions where calls could have and should have been made.

These non-calls aren't calls that superstars would get but calls that calls that should be made for everyone.

I know this will be an unpopular thread and some will dismiss this as they won the game but that totally misses the point. The goal is to call the game as accurately as possible irrespective of the result/consequences. I can't help think that the NBA is purposely missing calls in order to make games closer then expected and influence the outcome of such games.

For reference Lebron is shooting 4.6 free throws a game through 5 games and has taken 10.4 FG attempts within 10 feet. Approximately 60 percent of his looks are within the paint.

I agree that Lebron get's away with a lot of push offs and travels but as a whole it seems to be one of the least officiated parts of NBA basketball so doesn't explain why he's not getting calls that he would usually get.

In addition I haven't seen many push offs this post-season.

It's hard to call a foul on the defender when he's been shoved 5 feet away

If I provided video-evidence of missed calls will you stop?

No one believes it which is kind of insane since he was knocked to the ground having been hit in the face more times than he got to the FT line last night.

But people who actually watch the games know he hasn't gotten the same respect as the greats that came before him the last several years.

I can't remember this ever being the case. Even commentators joke about star calls or different quarters being officiated differently.

Yep, its amazing hey, they think there should be a set of rules for LeBron, and a different set for everyone else.

What a narrow minded world they live in

Honest question, did you read my post?, if you did and you are still spouting this bullshit then you either a) have the reading comprehension of a monkey or b) you are as narrow minded as the people you claim.

I'll let your dumb ass decide, although knowing you as a poster you respond will be ridiculously uneducated and idiotic response.

I watched the game yesterday and saw no problem, except for LeBitch crying over calls he shouldn't have got.
Its like he thinks driving to the hoop through traffic is a default foul.

Whilst half the time he's pushing people off and travelling.

How in the world does Harden get more preferential treatment than Lebron

Lebron is actually shooting only 3.2 free throws per game. He's shooting 4.6 3 pointers per game.

He's playing like a role player and should be treated as such.

Harden doesn't have the size advantage that Lebron does and he's craftier on offense when it comes to drawing contact, Lebron tries to bulldoze to the rim but teams over the years have figured out how to stop him from going to the line.
