Let's wait the lottery to see if we keep the pick and if we will have to do do this choice. But, I would take Ingram from what I've seen so far.

Ingram but we should trade the pick if we can get a legit all star or franchise player in the trade.

Really cause Walton was a great passer just like Simmons

yeah, shooting, ball movement and off-ball movement are going to be the main focuses in their offense. so it really can go any way. but i dont see any player in lukes offense being much of a ball dominant play maker.
They need a scorer more than they need a playmaker
Disagree, They already have Russell/Clarkson, who have scoring mentalities adding another scorer, might throw off any potential chemistry. Simmons might be the better bet in making those guys better by getting easier looks while also contributing some scoring punch.
LA aint even getting a pick this year so no need to build false expectations.

Clarkson is a 6th man type player, doesn't play defense, definitely wouldn't be a starter on a Playoff team in the long run.
Russell is actually a POINT GUARD, we weren't able to see much of that due to the fact that Kobe and Clarkson turned him into a spot-up shooter in Scott's system.

Has Walton already said there's no chance of him running the triangle?

more or less
"I don't think the triangle's the most appropriate offense for the players that they have in place right there," Walton said, via ESPN's Ethan Sherwood Strauss. "So I think I'm going to bring more of the style and spacing that we use up here, which has elements of the triangle, that philosophy."

Either, I frankly don't give a damn which one we get as long as we get one of those guys. The new Bron/Melo.

You are probably right you got to see them more than me but I have my doubts about Ingram, Russell and Clarkson being able to share the ball as offensive options. Ideally, Clarkson should come off the bench but that isn't going to happen on next year's squad. We haven't mentioned Randle, who also will demand his touches. Seems like a fair share of scoring-minded players Simmons could potentially be the best fit in elevating all of them by setting them up for easier looks while I feel Ingram might get lost in the mix offensively on the Lakers. Russell/Clarkson will probably hold most of the ball handling responsibilities and will decide how much the younger Ingram gets the ball. Do you trust their decision making????
To be fair, the same argument could potentially work against Simmons but I just feel the dynamic would work differently due to Simmons particular skills as a ball handler should see him making more decisions in an offence compared to Ingram hypothetically speaking.

Russell and Simmons are both ball dominant players, Ingram is a shooter and would be the best fit

Ingram can shoot and score without ISO ball. So I think you see LA take him if they had a choice.
Luke is going to mold that team after a Golden State. Randle actually has decent handles and good passing ability. I think you see randle become the poor mans version of a Draymond Green. a 4 that give you a double double( 14-10) with 5 assists.
Simmons would be good on a team that has black hole scorers and needs a do it all SF.
