A mobile athletic big with barely any offensive skills.

Yes.

The only difference is those players you mentioned knew their place.

Dwight Coward thought he'd be mentioned with Shaq and Wilt. Maybe even to this day.

Rich? Yes. Better than them? Not sure.

As much as I hate Dwight, comparing him to Ezeli, Jordan and Ibaka is unfair.

He is a good rebounder and used to be a solid defender when he put in effort.

IMO hes more like a Ben Wallace who is better at finishing pick and rolls and alleyoops. But he's mentally weaker than Wallace.

Peak Howard was an athletic freak and an incredibly impactful player. Let me know when any of those guys did this over a 5 year stretch (2008 - 2012):

20.6 PPG, 24.5 PER, 59% FG, 13.9 RPG, 2.5 BPG

Not to mention, his career playoff numbers (89 games):

19.1 PPG, 22.7 PER, 59% FG, 14.1 RPG, 2.6 BPG

Not to mention, 3 DPOY awards. He was one of the better rim protectors, rebounders and rim rollers EVER.

People forget Dwight was ripping through the Eastern conference for years. It was a joke how dominant they were. Not his fault he couldnt beat the Stacked Celtics

Theres a reason to this day he was the most voted for all star in the history of the NBA

Prime Dwight was elite on defense

DeAndre has never even come close to having the defensive impact that Dwight had.
