Granted some of their players were young and didn't hit their peak yet but if they don't choke away game 7 against the Lakers, they no doubt would've beaten the Pacers in the finals. If they played out that 4th quarter again 100 times, I would say the Blazers hold on to that lead about 95 times. It was just one of those crazy scenarios that played out.

To be honest, I've never seen team ball like the 2014 Spurs in the finals but that was sort of like the stars aligning with D. Green going off and Diaw probably making the perfect basketball decision almost every time.

But on paper, the Blazers are just the better team and I would favor them. The Spurs aren't going to play that well in most scenarios.

Yep. Pacers had their best team in 98 and had enough experience facing tough and talented teams like the Shaq Penny Magic, Ewings Knicks, Jordans Bulls etc. Facing a flawed one man team like the Cavs in 09 would be a breather :oldlol:
