I really hate team era comparisons. But there's no way on gawds green earth that the 2014 Spurs beat the 2000 Blazers.

"You are disrespect to the previous generations shows" ?

2013 Thunder were their best version up to date, and had one of the top 10 most best SRS' EVER.

bruh..

that team had the most dominant +/- playoff run since the '01 Lakers.

It's a TOTALLY different era, homie. They wouldn't be physically or mentally tough enough to beat THOSE Trailblazers. Period.

2000 Blazers might be the deepest team ever. They went DEEP. Granted some of their players were young and didn't hit their peak yet but if they don't choke away game 7 against the Lakers, they no doubt would've beaten the Pacers in the finals. If they played out that 4th quarter again 100 times, I would say the Blazers hold on to that lead about 95 times. It was just one of those crazy scenarios that played out.

It really wasnt... Pippen showed his deficiencies and started chucking 3's... Sheed lost his control... meanwhile Kobe was the freshest guy on the perimeter left deep into the game and started crossing people.. it could easily happen again.

This guy gets it :applause: :applause:

I don't give a fvck about the 2014 Spurs. They would get curbed stomped playing the way they played in 2014 against 2000 Portland.

Pippen was past his prime but he would've locked up role player K Leonard.

Please. Lakers were down 15 with like 8 minutes left. 9 out of 10 times, the team with that big of a lead holds on to it. It was actually the role players that fueled the comeback (Shaw, Horry and Fish). No doubt Blazers choked and that does say something about the character of that team.

To be honest, I've never seen team ball like the 2014 Spurs in the finals but that was sort of like the stars aligning with D. Green going off and Diaw probably making the perfect basketball decision almost every time.

But on paper, the Blazers are just the better team and I would favor them. The Spurs aren't going to play that well in most scenarios.

Everybody choosing 2009 Cavs over 98 Pacers? Pacers took Bulls to game 7. 2009 Cavs lost in 6 to a team far inferior to the 98 Pacers.

Yep. Pacers had their best team in 98 and had enough experience facing tough and talented teams like the Shaq Penny Magic, Ewings Knicks, Jordans Bulls etc. Facing a flawed one man team like the Cavs in 09 would be a breather :oldlol:
