When it used to happen in the past, it was a big ****ing deal. Now, everybody be like 'eh'.

Probably because they realize what a horrible candidate Trump is. If only they could realize the complete shit that is the Republican party.

Paul Ryan gunning for a contested convention. He's trying to set up a hero moment where he can step in and be like "I am the face of true Republicanism. I am the one man standing up against Trump. Pick me as the 2016 Republican candidate!"
Littlefinger is making his play.

Can't say I blame him, these GOP dudes can see the shiiit show trainwreck that is the Trump candidacy. The Donald is gonna take the GOP down with him and we about to witness a beatdown of biblical proportions at the hands of the Democrats.

Well, unfortunately for them, their voting base is voting for that shit candidate... either get behind him, or get the **** out of the way. Pretty simple.
Instead of being adults about it, they're taking their ball and going home, which is fine. People will remember these names when they come up for reelection.

I also find it mildly entertaining with the Left. On one hand they will hate Trump and the other hand they hate the GOPe. Do they not know that Trump doesn't align himself with the establishment?
"haha Trump is tearing apart the GOP"
"haha GOP doesn't support Trump. His own party doesn't support him."
Trump and GOPe is not synonymous.
What is it?

Lol the country is going to hell in a hand basket anyway, might as well sit back and enjoy the ride.
Probably won't look much like the US in 20 years.

That has been the Republican mantra the past 8 years. It's funny how you're up in arms when its not Obama that they're being complete d!cks to.

Obstructionists gonna obstruct. Business as usual. Obama was cursed with the least productive and most useless (and lowest rated) Congress in History. It's only a problem now because it's coming back to bite them in the ass.

It's not...
Had they behaved that way, the GOP voters wouldn't be voting against them.
Truth is, they did nothing to stop Obama's agenda, so it's not quite how you described it, but good try.

Obama's approval ratings are in the 50s this late in his presidency, 68% among 18-29 year olds so obviously most Americans agree with his agenda and reject yours :confusedshrug:

Merrick Garland
2013 Government Shutdown
It's so interesting to see karma get at the Republican Party in this manner. :oldlol:
I honestly would like to see a much-needed makeover for the party. It'll make the USA "great again" if done.

Name a few things they obstructed.
Comprehensive immigration reform (including bipartisan efforts... Obama's executive order on the issue is being deliberated by the SC right now)
Overhauling the tax code (Obama finally issued an executive order to tackle corporate inversions this year)
A Trans National Light Rail System (This was mainly killed by Republican governors)
Infrastructure Investment/Repair
Holding a confirmation hearing for Merrick Garland (The Senate has failed to confirm a quarter of Obama's judicial nominees, compare that to only 9% for his predecessor Bush)
[T]he Senate confirmed fewer of [Obama's] district and circuit nominees than every president back to Jimmy Carter, and the lowest percentage of nominees - 58% - than any president in American history at this point in a President's first term. By comparison, Presidents George W. Bush, Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Reagan and Carter had 77%, 90%, 96%, 98%, and 97% of their nominees confirmed after two years, respectively.
Senate Republicans' mass obstruction of Obama's judges stands in stark contrast to the treatment afforded to past presidents. Indeed, the Senate confirmed fewer judges during Obama's first two years in office than it did during the same period in the Carter Administration, even though the judiciary was 40 percent smaller while Carter was in office.

^This is just the tip of the Ice Berg.
EDIT- Just found a scoreboard (only good through 2014, doesn't touch 2016's obstruction over the Supreme court, corporate inversions, consumer protection, etc)

Like that agenda?
Obviously, it's not that obvious to you.
Also, a quarter of Americans couldn't give two shits about the fate of the country as long as whoever they vote in gives them goodies... the majority of those being those same 18-29 year old kids. You know, the ones with no life experience, that still live at home, that run to safe spaces? You're telling me I disagree with them? That is a good thing.
I believe someone a long time ago said something about when the populace realizes it can vote itself the treasury.. look it up.
