He's the main/biggest reason OKC lost this game.

Well, that and the refs.

im not petty enough to root for a shitty team to win so the warriors could play them

i dont really care about either of these teams im just a fan of good basketball...and some of these play by westbrook are just awful

Shot clock was running down

he did it multiple times in critical possessions down the stretch...even if the clock is running down he is the point guard that is his job to manage it so he doesn't get left with the ball 25+ feet out with no time remaining

Come on man. I know Westbrook is your boy, but are you really going to defend him after this performance?

Yeah but Kawhi was klawing on KD, he couldn't shake him loose. I have a bigger problem with his turnovers down the stretch than his shot selection.

WHEN THE **** WILL HE LEARN THAT HE IS NOT A GOOD 3PT SHOOTER?

Not in my lifetime :lol :lol :lol

Loss is on Donovan. The shots we were making early in the 4th were bad shots anyway (a few i can think of - KD standstill fade away long 2 over Green, Adams put back off KD's airball, Westbrook late shot clock 3). He's still not coaching, much like Scott Brooks.

Shame because it was such a brilliant defensive performance in the first 3qtrs. Then in the 4th...
- Unforced turnovers (that led directly to easy scores
- Lame ass bail-out 3pters (Westbrook got an and1 put back off it, but come on...)
- Westbrook shitty defensive effort down 2 with 30+ sec left, taking that switch so easily(that led to Kawhi's offensive rebound)

Seeing Westbrook with his BACK FACING Parker going back on defence off made FTs, I knew we had that possession lost... Not even giving themselves a chance to tie/win the game :banghead:

And the thing is... they are such an arrogant and delusional team. Why cant they man up and see that this hero ball offence isnt going to work in the playoffs (as proven again and again and again and again)? Why do we keep going back to an ineffective, unsuccessful gameplan?

- Stagnant offense; hero ball
- Any time we are down more than 3 with <2min to go = KD bail-out 3 OFF A ****ING TIMEOUT  :wtf:
- Ibaka's horrible defense (blocked shots not = good D)
- Andre fkin Roberson in crunch time (idc about the 1 or 2 good defensive possessions when for 8-10 straight possessions he can be left alone to double on KD)
- Not making Westbrook pay for his mistakes. I understand he's the alphadog but you cant let him climb over the head coach

Absolutely disgusting as a fan seeing all these talent squandered

Are you seriously blaming Donovan for the loss? No fvcking way bro

Should've said 'Loss is ALSO on Donovan'. No question WB threw the game away, but it is also an indirect accumulation of Donovan's poor coaching (arguable if WB can even be coached by ANY coach).

I honestly believe these guys may be somewhat uncoachable. And because they are superstars the front office lets them get away with whatever they want. Scott Brooks/Billy Donovan's hands are tied. What are you gonna do, bench Westbrook? Bench Kevin Durant? No

That's why Sam Presti hires coaches that he can control. He won't go out and get a guy like Mark Jackson. He goes and gets a yes man.....He's a fvcking control freak

Are you kidding me? They can't afford to bench either of those guys against the Spurs. The Spurs bench will mop the floor with OKC's bench. You want Payne or Waiters to run the show? Ginobli and Patty Mills and West >>>

I'm not suggesting they bench them. I'm just saying there is nothing that a coach like Brooks or Donovan can do in a situation like this. They just have to let them do whatever they want with no consequences

Its'a shame, but I think thats how it is after all. Taking contested off the dribble 3's would be a good shot for only one player on this earth, and that is Curry. Even then its somewhat forcing the issue man. Westbrook taking this is ridiculous if you ask me.

No way for the Thunder to beat Spurs Warriors or cavs with their 2-man offense. Westbrook may have solid stats but I think he's having a bad series. Forcing way too many shots out of the offense.

I've said it for years. Give me Tony Parker any day over Westbrook and twice on Sundays. Parker played an infinitely better game than Westbrook tonight, but boxscore watchers will still see that Westbrook put up 30 and basically had a triple double. But anyone who watched the game knows how terrible Westbrook was and how clutch Parker was.

Decision making was never the key to his game.

i don't know why OKC puts up with his bullsh*t, tbh. I'm sure there is friction between Durant and Westbrook but Durant just hides it well.

All those pull-up shots that Westbrick shoots make me want to shoot someone, and I'm not even a Thunder fan!

Out of curiosity, how many coaches would this team have to go through playing the same way, for you to agree that the players, and in this case mainly the point guard, is the problem?

My biggest problem with this team is that some scrub with a poverty 36 inch vertical I'd taking over 10 shots more than the second best player in the league
