Kobe OWNED Duncan in their career post-season H2H's.

Not even close my friend.

Remove a 20 year old Kobe and their '99 H2H...and Kobe went 18-8 against Timmy, and just crushed him in scoring.

And DOMINATED him H2H.

This coming from a Lebron fan who shot worse than Kobe in his biggest must win Finals games.

LeChoke...losing a FMVP to a role player off the bench. And his 36 ppg on a horrific .398 FG%, to boot.

Chamberlain was FAR more dominant with a 17.5 ppg Finals.

Duncan is the yin to Turdbe's yang. Duncan's last season is the best in franchise history, tying the 7th best record of all time in the process while Cuckbe's is the worst in franchise history and among the worst records in NBA history. Certified top 10 player who doesn't know how to do anything but win vs. a chucker outside of the top 10 who misses the play offs more times than he wins MVP and FMVP combined.

When did Tim Duncan stop Aldridge, Leonard, Parker, West and Green from getting their touches?
When did Tim Duncan outshoot all his teammates only to post the worst shooting percentage in modern basketball history?

Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett are not as good as they used to be, and they play like they know it. Among many fake legends, they are real legends.

And Duncan has less mileage than Kobe...has had his minutes restricted for about 7-8 years now.

Timmy had a great career but now he's good for 2 pts and a rebound in 15 minutes

The President of the United States just helped immortalize Kobe's final game even more. A game that will be remembered forever in NBA history.

I doubt anyone will remember Duncan was even alive in 2016 :oldlol:

But he went out "like a champ", most likely losing in 5 games to the Warriors as the 15th best player on the floor.

People count Kareem's 6th, why not Duncan's? I would expect Kobe stans more than anyone to understand considering the sidekick ring double standard you guys always bring up.

KAJ - 14/5

Tim Duncan so far this playoffs- 5/5 per game

Come on now, if Duncan wins his 6th with consistent averages to what he has so far, that isn't in the same tier as Kareem's 6th

I'm not saying it doesn't count, just it shouldn't be compared to Kareem's

Duncan won't continue putting up 5/5.

Why would you expect Kobe stans to understand what winning us about? Their idol hasn't played in the playoffs since 2012. They're used to the lottery in recent seasons!

this! not to mention that leadership and mentorship he provides to the front court younging's. he, alongside Manu and TP, are transitioning this Spurs team to another decade run - and that itself cannot be overlooked or weighed.

this is exactly the role any close to retiring HoF should play for the squad - not out there trying to get his, and ultimately costing the franchise and making the team a disaster :facepalm

This makes perfect sense if you just ignore everything surrounding the Lakers and the Spurs from 2011 and onward.

Ignoring the blocking of the CP3 trade.

Ignoring that the Lakers front office went for broke and assembled a veteran team around Kobe, Pau, Nash and Dwight.

Ignoring that none of those players wanted to stay past 2012-13, because the best player on the team just had an achilles tear and the second best had been turned into a cripple (Nash).

Ignoring that they had to rebuild and that every major free agent had a better options in turns of winning now.

The worst part about it is that you guys KNOW THIS and yet everything line up so great with the agenda and the old perception of Kobe and Duncan, that you can't help but turn to it in times of trouble.
