We've found 80's and 90's dunk stats from the old Philadelphia 76'er Media Guides (link are at the bottom of the OP) - they show that for the 6 seasons between 1988 and 1993, Jordan had 746 dunks, or an average of about 130 dunks per season.. His high was 158 (1988), and his low was 95 (1993).

By comparison, Kobe averaged 65 dunks per season in his prime (2002-2009), which was half of Jordan's totals... Westbrook only gets about 50 dunks per season, or barely 1/3 of Jordan's.. Tracy McGrady averaged 75 dunks from 2001 to 2005 (his athletic prime and highest volume period)... Vince Carter (in his prime) and Paul George only get about 50 dunks per season.

Keep in mind, the league's dunks-per-shot was lower in Jordan's era.

^^^^ The stats in the previous post show that Jordan's 1997 season ranks #1 on the midrange shooting list by a full 5 percentage points, and his volume is 3 times more than anyone else's.. His 1998 ranks 3rd on the list, despite playing through a severe finger injury where he couldn't straighten his finger.

Otoh, Lebron's midrange efficiency is below 40% for 10 of his 13 seasons, while his 3-point percentage is below 35% for 8 of 13 seasons.. The reality is that Lebron, Westbrook, Wade, Derozan and Butler all have poor 3-point AND midrange efficiency for most of their careers, yet they're still the top wing scorers because today's wide open spacing and hands-off defense allows athletic players easier access to the rim than ever before.

Today's spacing and hands-off defense would benefit MJ's athleticism the same way, except he had documented (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11713011&postcount=43) goat midrange efficiency, which would put him in Curry's category as a goat shooter, and gave him a similarly massive advantage over non-shooters Lebron, Westbrook and company..

Westbrook isn't the only wing that can't shoot..

The midrange stats from nba.com that were posted in the last 2 posts show that Lebron, Wade, Derozan, Westbrook and Butler have ALL had sub-par 3-point and midrange for most of their careers - but they're still the top wing scorers because today's wide open spacing and hands-off defense allow easier access to the rim than ever before.

Today's spacing and hands-off defense would benefit MJ the same way, except he had documented (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=11713011&postcount=43) goat midrange efficiency, which put him in Curry's category as a goat shooter, and gave him a similarly massive advantage over non-shooters Lebron, Westbrook and company..

What's your point?
I'm showing how much more of a physical force the 6'6" Jordan was than Westbrook.

Westbrook's league-leading scoring (in 2015) and top 3 status in the league shows that Jordan would easily be the best player today, just like he was in previous eras.

This is especially true considering Jordan was a goat midrange shooter, while Westbrook can't shoot, just like many of the league's top wings - the nba.com stats on the previous page (post #13 (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12352968&postcount=13)) show that Lebron, Wade, Derozan, Westbrook and Butler have ALL had sub-par 3-point and midrange for most of their careers, but they're still the top wing scorers because today's wide open spacing and hands-off defense allow easier access to the rim than ever before.
