In the Finals?
Playoffs? Easily Kobe.
Finals? Neither were anything to write home about, but I would give the edge to Wade.

This is an obvious agenda thread if we look at the OP's history of attacks on Wade. I mean bringing up the playoffs is stupid, we know Wade blew in that postseason and Kobe was pretty good, but Wade in the regular season was better by a fair margin so i'd side with him overall.

Are you ****ing kidding me? I know you stan a player who basically always quite in the Finals, but Wade was massive in 3 of those games. G4 and G7 were amazing. '13 Finals Wade >>>>> '00 Finals Kobe. Not even close, TBH.

Wade played very well in Games 4, 5, & 7, but was pretty mediocre Games 1-3 & 6. I don't see the outrage with what he said, Wade had a better Finals but it certainly wasn't on par with even his 2012 Finals, let alone his first two

Before he hurt his knee? Wade. After? Kobe. (this was after all the season where Kobe played the best D of his career)

I know you stan a Shaq who couldn't beat Ostertag nor Ben Wallace in their multiple post-season H2H's, and basically built his Finals going up against a washed up Smits in his last season; a 35 year old Mutombo whom he was allowed to bloody to a pulp; a never-was POS in McCulloch; and a career bust in Dampier.
Same with the career broken down bus-riding Wade who led his team to a 10-41 record, and couldn't get past the first round after Shaq left, and then was carried to his last two rings by LeChoke when Riley had finally enough of Wade's puke jobs in the Finals.
But, Kobe carried the Lakers in OT in the pivotal game four of the 2000 Finals, and after Shaq had fouled out.
In any case,...I give a SLIGHT edge to a Wade, who was nothing to write home about in the '13 Finals.
Playoffs...easily Kobe.

You stan a player who played in the WORST era of basketball. Scalabrine would've averaged 40 PPG with 25 RPG in that garbage ass era. Dude had a player scoring 40 PPG by his side and still lost the Finals.
tl;dr - Wilt would be in the D-League in this era.

Mutumbo was the DPOY in 2001 and Shaq wasn't facing trash centers or big men at that time.
Wade was injured in the '08 Season, how many times do you I have to tell you that? BTW Shaq played played with the Heat for 33 of those Games. Again, in '09 & '10 he lost to better teams.
Wade's "puke jobs" in the Finals? He really stunk it up in '06 & '11 and a Wilt stan talking about puking it up in the Finals. :oldlol:

Going up against the 6-9 DeAndres, Drummonds, Cousins, and Dwights? We already know that Wilt was hanging 40 ppg on a 6-9 Russell who was better than any of those clowns. And that when Wilt had a roster that was the equal of Russell's, and healthy, that he and Sixers wiped out Russell and his Celtics.
And again...had Wilt had the good fortune to have faced the inept clods that Shaq beefed up his post-season stats against...well, Chamberlain would have been putting up some huge playoff runs. 60+ games would have been the norm.

Wade had ONE VERY controversial Finals...a Finals in which he went from a regular season of 10 FTAs per game...to 16 FTA per game, and to a clinching game six of 21 FTAs.
Chamberlain was easily the best player on the floor in four of his six Finals, and slaughtered his opposing centers in five of them.
Wade...was awful in the '07 and '09 playoffs, and led his team to a 10-41 record in '08. And we know that it was Wade's team in '11, and he choked away the clinching game six. After that Riley had had enough, and had Lebron take over. The rest is history.
And then we saw what happened to both Lebron and Wade, after Lebron left. One didn't make the playoffs, the other went to his 5th straight Finals.

Smits? Washed up and in his last season, and in a career in which he was a one time All-star.
MacCulloch? His career spanned a total of four seasons, and he was a career 6 ppg scorer.
Dampier? A career 7 ppg scorer.
Yes...Shaq was facing pure trash in those four Finals.

Yep Wade averaged 39 ppg after going down 0-2 while dropping 12pts after going down 13 in Game 3, 21 in the 4th & OT of Game 5, and 11 in ame 6. Where are Wilt's 35 ppg Finals?
Wade was hurt in the '07 playoffs, we literally had this convo a couple of days ago.He was hurt in '08 again we just had this talk a couple of days ago. In '09 he wasn't awful. '11 Finals Wade dropped 7.5 ppg on 54% shooting in the 4th quarters of the '11 Finals and shot 55% on shots to tie or take the lead in the last 5 minutes and Bron averaged 3 ppg in the 4th on 33% shootong but yeah Wade "choked". :oldlol:
Why didn't Bron take over Game 6? He took over from '12-'14 but with the Title on the line and Wade "choking" he couldn't deliver the Heat a win? :oldlol:
Wade had Kyrie, Love, Smith, Shumpert, etc on hos team last year?

Everyone knows that the real NBA Finals of the entire decade of the 60's were between Russell's Celtics...and Wilt. And Russell's teams, with generally far greater rosters...won four games, and by margins of 2, 1, 4, and 2 points.
Here were Wilt's numbers against the greatest dynasty in NBA history, and against the GOAT defensive center in NBA history.

Oh, and think about this...
http://www.nba.com/history/players/chamberlain_bio.html
In Chamberlain's first year, and for several years afterward, opposing teams simply didn't know how to handle him. Tom Heinsohn, the great Celtics forward who later became a coach and broadcaster, said Boston was one of the first clubs to apply a team-defense concept to stop Chamberlain. "We went for his weakness," Heinsohn told the Philadelphia Daily News in 1991, "tried to send him to the foul line, and in doing that he took the most brutal pounding of any player ever.. I hear people today talk about hard fouls. Half the fouls against him were hard fouls."
BTW, Russell beefed his post-season stats against the Lakers in five Finals in the 60's. Wilt never had the opportunity to have faced LA even once. BUT, if he had ...
86 H2H games in the decade of the 60's...
40 40+ point games, 19 50+ point games, 7 60+ point games, and 2 70+ point games (with a high of 78.)
