Legendary former Yugoslavian player and current head coach of the Greek League team AEK Athens, Jure Zdovc, tried to jab former NBA player Taurean Green (who plays on his own team), during a Greek League playoffs game against Olympiacos.

Jure Zdovc almost hit Taurean Green!

A crazy incident happened in the Greek Basket League semifinals game between Olympiacos and AEK.

With the score 28 – 27, Jure Zdovc was not happy with some decisions Taurean Green had made in the game and decided to substitute him. Zdovc wanted to talk to his player, but Green… ignored him. The Slovenian coach insisted, and when Green went to sit on his chair on the bench, he erupted, shouting to the player, and making a move like he was attempting to hit him!

The rest of the AEK players intervened to stop a possible fight from happening, and Green went to the locker rooms.

Green deserves to be fined and suspended. You can't treat your coach like that man you gotta stand there and listen even if you don't respect him you have to respect your teammates and set the right example. This could be one of the reasons he couldn't stick in the nba.

Its pretty funny, because Zdovc usually looks like very calm person and he is also a very good coach. I dont believe Green will ever play for AEK again.

Taurean was the starting PG for my back to back title winning Gators.

He's definitely not used to being talked to like that, lol.

The jab looked to be more out of fear than anything.
