Full blown estrogen.

I'm lactose intolerant. I can only drink soy and almond milk. Asian soy is good. Why is it estrogen?

Soy produces estrogen.

Also a lot of asian countries produce a lot of effeminate men due to soy consumption. A country like Thailand is a very good example.

Parents shoud not raise their kids on it.

Almond milk is a good substitute.

A quick google search shows isoflavones, estrogen produced by plant, are different than the hormone estrogen.

This study says you're wrong as well.

Can you provide sources? If true, I don't want to drink soymilk anymore lol. But i think you're wrong which would make your effeminate asian remark pretty naive.

Only negative about drinking too much soymilk is that it's bad for your thyroid gland.

I agree that's why I have stronger bones that the man on my avatar. The man on my avatar has a glass jaw.

Isolating the isoflavones will increase estrogen. Soy products on their own would need quite a hefty dosage to get a significant amount of isoflavones.

Do you know how much soy you need to consume to change your estrogen levels? Dont worry about it, if you like the soy milk drink it.

I'm lactose intolerant too. There's also rice milk if you haven't tried it. When I'm in Asia I don't worry about the foods so much because most of the foods don't have milk in it unlike the U.S. In the U.S. they put milk in every darn thing..it's frustrating.

also try out rice milk as the poster above said, as well as coconut milk.

try to get unsweetened milk, as most brands add a shit-ton of sugar for the american palate.

coconut milk is pretty high in saturated fat, i'd be careful with too much of that.

9erempire comment had me researching this topic for the past hour lol. Lot of beneficial qualities in soy products that outweigh the bad. So not sweating it. I regularly drink almond milk but found some asian soy milk which imo taste much better than the Silk brand I usually come across.

I will try rice milk. sounds good. And isnt coconut milk a laxative? Which would defeat my purpose of staying away from lactose.

Just chill on the soy.

When you have Thai people talking about soy being one of the reasons for their ladyboy phenomenon then its real.

thailand sex changes has less to do do with soy products and more to do with males doing whatever it takes to feed their family. I dont agree with it but considering the world they live in, i will try to understand it. it doesnt sound like you know what you're talking about.

there's been a big shift the last decade or so in science's regard for saturated fat.

it seems that plant-based saturated fat is one of the healthier fats that one can eat. considering how much sat fat that nuts and seeds have, that's probably not a big surprise.

also, coconut milk specifically raises levels of HDL cholesterol, i.e. the 'good' cholesterol.

not as far as i know. i've never heard of that before, nor experienced it myself.

coconut milk is commonly sold in two forms (at least around here)-- canned, for cooking purposes, and cartons, in the milk section.

coconut milk in cartons seems to be thinner and more consistent, i.e. more like the other milks.

Yes coconut milk is a laxative, it's very high in fiber. I grew up on the stuff as a kid.

after checking around the web, indeed it seems to be a mild natural laxative.

you would probably have to eat some pretty heroic quantities to come down with the runs or something.

other natural laxatives are things such as beans, nuts, whole grains and water. those things are probably around 50% of my daily diet.

I believe I heard about coconut milk being a laxative from the movie Castaway lol. But like you said it's apparently a mild laxative. I think I will try rice next, then try coconut to get some of that good saturated fats in mah body!

Well, I'm almost done with the asian soy that I bought, been drinking it everyday for the past 3 days. I also occasionally eat the sofritas at Chipotle and have enjoyed the tofu side plates whenever I go to korean restaurants...I don't have bitch tits yet but I'll definitely keep you posted.
