Amazing the impact LeBron has on these games. The whole bench is either old guys or cast-offs. And the two best players aside from LeBron didn't even sniff the playoffs without him. If/when Cleveland wins it all, this would definitely be one of the lesser talented finals teams ever.

Op you definitely have a point, didnt realize this until now. Outside of Lebron, the Cavs are arguably the least talented of the big 4 (Spurs, Warriors, OKC, Cavs)

Even if you're right, you don't need talent to beat the Pistons or Hawks or whatever mediocre, non superstar, sub 50 win team is in the east.

Kyrie before this game was leading the entire EC in PER and leading his team in scoring
Love averaging 17/12
JR shooting like 71% TS

Hawks are much better than their record. They beat the blazers and OKC out west.

Offensively its one of the most talented teams of alltime
Lebron, Kyrie and Love are all top 10 offensive players
Frye and JR are among the best shooters at their position. TT is the best offensive rebounder in NBA.
Supreme offensive talent.

Love's T-Wolves would have definitely been playoff contenders in the east. Irving was 19-22 year old and oft-injured. He's now healthy and just entering his prime. The Cavs are the only team in the league whose 2nd and 3rd options are 3x all-stars in their prime.

If they depend on strictly lebron, than they will get shit on in the finals like your typical lebron team.
