Every damn time I want to give the nod to Leonard, Durant goes on a ridiculous streak and makes me change my mind.

Leonard is the better defender, but Durant is a very solid defender as well.

Durant's scoring ability is just amazing and makes me want to give him the nod.

the problem with Kawhi is hes TOO textbook/fundamental. He does the things right but he doesnt have that extra alltime great skill to take over games defensively or offensively. He doesnt have that GEAR. He doesnt have that DRIVE. He doesnt have that KILLER INSTINCT. In many ways hes a frontrunner

Kawhi is not even top 3. He doesn't do what top players regularly do in crunch time which is taking over and dominating teams. He basically does that when the rest of the team is also doing which isn't the same.
