Chicago has the two best teams in baseball, the Cubs in the National League which was to be expected, they are considered a World Series contender and the White Sox, to everyone's surprise, are the American League's best team.
The possibility of an all Chicago World Series is actually not far fetched
Go Sox!!!

:pimp: :pimp: :pimp: ayyyyy
ChiSox are a major surprise but it's fun to watch them succeed.
Frazier/Abreu. Like that combo. And the rotation has been solid. Sale has to be the front runner for Cy Young. It's about time he took that next step to be the best in the game and it looks to be official this season.
I sent Chicago an extra 3 million bags last holiday season because they ran out.
The baseball season is a few weeks old and our Chicago stores are already asking we send them more. Said business was booming
When I get to work, I'll check out the YOY transaction count to see.

We have 7 locations in the city of Chicago. Here are our three bigger ones:
Transactions for the month of April YOY from 2014
2015
A - +6%
B - +4%
C - +6%
2016
A - +12%
B - +11%
C - +14%
Chicago sales are absurd. When was opening day? City wide sales on April 3rd were up 230%.

I lived in Chicago for a few years , was a Cubs fan , and loyality runs super high.
I am happy for the fans
On the other hand , my Brew crew is in a rebuild.
To bad they didn't keep over the last 5-7 years key players like ,CC , Rienke,Fielder and others... I'll chalk it up to funds ,but they better rebound fast , cause CUBS , Cards, Pri's and Reds are all powerhousing
Exactly what do you sell though?
Sports apparel. Hence why I posted the comps for you, so you can see that last year sales were up (I think both CHC and CHW were awful two years ago?), but this year sales are on another level.

I'm cautiously optimistic on my Sox
From this point on, if they go 67-62, they'll get to 90 wins which most likely gets them in the playoffs and with our pitching, anything can happen.

Cubs are 4-1 favorites to win it all. That's a horrible payout for a team that hasn't won it all in over 100 years....even if their team is stacked.

Cubs look like the best team in baseball. Smacking teams around, appreciate y'all sweeping the Nats and putting the Mets back in 1st place
Should be a great playoff series this time around. Was so shocked the way the Mets dismantled them last year especially after they didn't beat them once in the regular season, I guess Murphtober happened :oldlol:

I wasn't. Cubs overachieved last season.
I hate the Cubs and enjoy watching them fail, but you gotta respect the way they assembled this team.

Are you a ChiSox fan?
By default, yes. :D
I don't follow baseball much though, not since about 2006. I still remember paying $15 to go watch Sox games before the championship run. After 2005 I just found it difficult to get into it.
Know what else will be insane in Chicago this summer?
The body count.
Sorry, had to. But the Cubs are legit. They could be the next dynasty as long as nobody starts to think they as an individual are bigger then the team itself.

They first gotta win one before this silly dynasty stuff is even in the convo.
Baseball is the most unpredictable of all team sports. I've seen many up and coming teams that everyone thought were gonna win multiple titles only to never achieve that success (late 90s Indians, mid 2000s Tigers, late 2000s Tampa Rays for example) and teams like the SF Giants who nobody thought would win 3 WS in 5 years...
This Cubs team can win a WS or two as easily as never even make it to the WS, baseball is weird that way, that's why it's my favorite sport.
Cubs are woopin that ass.
Good lord.
