Curry is the reigning, defending undisputed champion/MVP/best player in the world. The only way for guys like Bran or KD to surpass him is to beat him in a 7 game series. Bran lost last year to Curry in the Finals and Curry followed that up with 73 wins and MVP #2. In order to be the man you have to beat the man.

Not really. Every game will come down to the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter(analogous to the 12th round in a boxing match.) Curry and Bran will have the ball in their hands. Bran will timidly throw jabs and hope to win by decision(pass the ball to his teammates and hope that they bail him out). Curry will throw haymakers so he can determine the outcome. Bran will get knocked out by Curry again.
