Can't say he has the most titles ever ( russell amost double his titles)
Can't say he is the player with the most MVPs ( kareem is tied)
Has the most FMVP, but the award is named after Russell
Can't say he had the team with the most regular season wins
Can't say he was best offensive player
Can't say he was the best defensive player ever
Can't say he is the best in game dunker or best slam dunk contest dunker.
His ft line dunk was surpassed by Ibaka's ft line.
Can't say he was the first unanimous MVP.

After this season, he will be most remembered for his crying gif and for his 1-9 record without Pippen.

people who have jordan as their goat will never give a shit about what shitty narrative the younger generation comes up with to discredit jordans legacy. the same way in 20 years from now when other shitty, dumb fcking kids come in here and try to discredit curry/lebron with some shitty story about that generations new favorite player.

just the way the world works, baby

Nah, Wilt is still known by basically any basketball fan with a brain. And tt's been 50 years since he dominated.

MJ will be known just like that for the next 50 years, but even more since he was better than Wilt and was a bigger influence on the popularity of the sport in the 80's and 90's, helping the NBA reach the MLB in terms of popularity.

Not even a Jordan fan but nobody will surpass him.

He could do it all. Offense and defense. I respect curry but you gotta play both sides of the ball.

Jordan has the ultimate Trump card, much like Joe MOntana....

High stats, high accolades, and no finals losses. You could win 7 titles with 3 losses and he can still say 6-6.

Joe Montana in football is still considered the number 1 QB of all time over Brady and Manning. MJ can never get that taken away from him

Depends on how it happens. 6/6 > 7/10 if you're the alpha for all 6, and not for all the 7.

Jordan would be second it had been Wilt on those Celtics teams. I think Brady deserves to be put over Montana.

When you lose before the finals, it still counts as loss.

He's still regarded as the consensus GOAT and is the standard with which everyone compares.

He hasn't played in 13 years, hasn't been the top player for 18, and still gets mentioned all the time.

"Will Kobe/Lebron/Curry reach Jordan level?"

Zeppelin

The entire league is still based around MJ. Almost every modern NBA rule was created for one of two reasons; to promote quick, exciting, athletic wing players (Jordan), and to stop Shaq.

MJ also owns an NBA team, and dominates the NBA shoe apparel market (along with Nike).

Amazing how much people overreact. Nash won b2b MVPs in 05 and 06, Curry did the same 10 years later but played on a more talented roster .

Why are Lebron fans resorting to this kind of nonsense?

He's going nowhere. It's just that everyone in the world already knows how great he is and his legacy is cemented... Everything in his career has been discussed a 100 times while Curry/Lebron are still in the league and giving us new moments to talk about every year.

Kids from next generation won't know anything about him. He will be lost in history.
