I told people that he fell off the face of this Earth and he was only riding coattails but people try to tell me he has a better career than most players.

It's more the product of the system.

Tonight....Timmy scored his first points. :applause:

What is the man's average in these playoffs pls?

Duncan has always been higher on the all-time list than Kobe, ever since he entered NBA. Hes unquestionably a top 10 all time player, while Kobe is 12th according to both ESPN and Sports Illustrated.

Lucky enough to play in a great system with a GOAT-tier coach and the best supporting cast in the league, managed to stay in the league long enough to leech a 5th title off the strength of Spurs' 3PT shooting and young Kawhi's rise.

He's probably in my top 13-15 all-time.

This would be funny, if you could actually make the argument that by replacing Kobe with Duncan the Lakers would have made the playoffs in 2014, 15 or 16.

But you can't.

6-7 all time. Same as always.

First team all-NBA in 2013 at the age of 36.

Was the best Spur in '13, '14 and '15 play offs overall, but retired 5 years ago.

Actually, there's a chance that they could've.

Seeing as one took a paycut on his last legs to help the team get better players and the other took a massive contract on his last legs just because. :confusedshrug:

Yeah I really wish we could have signed Melo and kept Dwight. Future would be looking bright right now

replacing Kobe with Duncan these past few years and the Lakers still miss the playoffs every year.

He was in top 10 , 7-9 more likely . With great longevity he has been candidate for top 5 .
