They don't have to be stars or anything, past or present.
Offensively
Rudy Gay
Kemba Walker
Derozens
Hardens mid range game
I can't stand watching
Derrick Williams, dunks do absolutely nothing for me, jumpers ugly, even looking at him is annoying
Julius Randle, I like the kid and I actually do want him to turn into a star and I think he could. But he's always just stumbling and contorting
I'm sure I'll think of more

james harden. 50% of the time he plays the game. the other 50% of the time he plays the refs. and when he drives to the basket, it looks like he takes about 3-4 "gather" steps before taking the standard two steps and putting up the shot.
but another trend has recently popped up that was started by harden and has been adopted by a few other players. its when an offensive player without the ball runs around a screen. the screener gives a subtle bump to the defender. not enough to be considered illegal, but just enough to make him slightly unbalanced while fighting through a screen. so while he's fighting through a screen, the offensive player stops right behind the screener, just short of turning the full corner and hoists up a shot. the offbalanced defender makes contact and the foul is called. thats three free throws EVERY SINGLE TIME. never fails. ive started seeing other players do it but harden is by far the worst.

Curry is great to watch for his shooting (of course), ball handling, and those floaters he makes.
LeBron was better to watch when he was younger because of his strong finishes. His jumper's always been kind of ugly. I've always loved his passing skills.
Howard's offense has always been ugly. Harden's game is ugly too although I enjoy watching his hilarious defensive highlights on Shaqtin a Fool.
Always liked watching Durant's smooth, fluid shot and overall offensive skills.
Past players:
Ewing: ugly game. That slow-motion, 3 step runner in the lane was ugh.
Hakeem: probably the most aesthetically appealing center to watch
Jordan: best player to watch ever
P. Hardaway: fun to watching with his smooth style
T. Hardaway: the UTep 2-Step was great to watch. Weird jumper though.
Magic: great passing skills, ugly jumper/set shot.

Unappealing? Alot... like, most of the players of all time... just nothing super interesting to see most of the time...
Pete Maravich (dribbling, creativity, passing)
Larry Bird (shooting, passing)
Michael Jordan (athleticism/dunking/finishing, everything tbh)
Magic Johnson (passing)
Lebron James (passing, athleticism/dunking/finishing)
Shawn Kemp (athleticism/dunking)
Penny Hardaway (finesse)
Scottie Pippen (defense)
Reggie Miller, Drazen Petrovic, Glen Rice, Ray Allen, Mark Price & Co. (PURE SHOOTING, love it, all of it & all of em, today Steph/Klay & i guess Durant are fine examples)

Kevin durant is pretty boring to me. I wish he had his own team and chucked every night.

Definitely Randle for me. Everytime he has the ball I think he's going to get called for a charge. (Unappealing)
