View Full Version : How Bad Will the Warriors Beat Cleveland? Post your prediction here.

We've seen the "Fully Healthy" Cavaliers against Golden State this season....only to lose by 40 points in a vicious raping/pillage pretty much both games. "The Champagne Game" comes to mind due to the fact that the best coach in the eastern conference loss his job over it.

However, we've seen the 2014 Heat led by Lebron lose by the widest margin in NBA HISTORY in the finals.

What will the Warriors do to this Lebron led team in the finals? Will it be that type of massacre (2014 finals)?

Lol at the cavs that lost by 34 to golden state being fully healthy. Irving was back not to long from serious surgery and was just getting his conditioning and feel for the game back. Love also missed an entire off season of improvement due to surgery. Golden state and it's fans have been so used to getting by on depleted team that they don't know what a truely healthy team looks like

I have Cavs losing by a combined 95 points over the course of the series.

But I'm being modest.

No jumper Lebron carried the Cavs to 6 games.
With as good as Kyrie and somewhat Love have been, Cavs in 6-7.

Portland just played them down to the wire the last 2 games. Unless Curry goes off for 50 every game there's no way they destroy Cleveland that badly

GSW are better offensively this season but worse defensively, especially since the ASB. Last year they shut teams down. This year they're regularly allowing 100+ ppg. That's good for Cleveland.

GSW better worry about OKC. They've been a different team since they're rolling with Adams/Kanter in the same lineup.

Sweep, Lebron again 39% from the field on nearly 40 shot attempts

Portland is VERY strong at the guard position and has a cast full of players that are aggressive offensively. The Cavs are not offensively aggressive and their offense is basic af.

And yeah...they will beat Cleveland that badly if Cleveland thinks their gonna run up and down in the finals against GS like their doing in that shitty conference you love.

Cleveland has also been the best 4rth quarter defensive team in the playoffs. They can play defense when they want. As for a prediction cavs in 6

This analysis is very simple if the matchup happens:

The Warriors are the GREATEST 3 point shooting team of all time, with possibly the 2 greatest 3 point shooters, that is what they do, they virtually invented this style, they are THE BEST AT IT!

The Cavs are NOT AS GOOD as the Warriors playing that style no matter what the fool's gold series against the Pistons and Hawks makes them think!

If they try to out-Warrior the Warriors, they loose in 5 to 6 games. They're only hope is for LeBron and Love to start dominating the post against the Warriors small lineups and have everything flow inside out including creating good 3 point opportunities.

The Helter-Skelter style the Warriors play is adequate for them and for them ONLY!!! Try to match it, you'll loose.

Simple

The Cavs will win approximately 1 game against Warriors or Spurs, it will be a 5 games series.

I think Warriors still wins it but not destroying Cleveland in the process. Watching the Blazer's series, i am questioning GSW ability to defend the 3pt shot. Portland got clean looks on the weak side at will and GSW barely rotated to cover off the shooters especially when the guards took them to the high pivot and kicked out.

When the same 2 teams meet in back to back finals, it's usually a split. Expect Cavs to pull off the upset.

It will depends on how the Cavs supporting cast fare, Lebron will bring the Warriors attention to him, if Love and Irving play to 80% of their potential then it will be sure a competitive series.

And will come to down to who wants more.
