Terrible year for the NBA. Both squads facing the Sanitation Department's leftovers.

It's true
GSW would have swept both rounds with a healthy Curry

How often did DET/ATL play against GSW/OKC/Spurs and how often did HOU/POR? The regular season record doesn't mean shit once you're in the playoffs. Guys already starting to make excuses for Cleveland just in case ...

i give you Portland but it's not better than OKC's depth

they do have more depth but that's more than made up when you're comparing westbrook/durant to lowry/derozan

Suddenly record doesnt matter to these western conference stans

Houston is one of the worst ever teams to make the playoffs, no way we would put them in comparsion with other good teams.

its not way better, its close. and toronto as a team is miles away from OKC.

Did you really say that because of the record of the teams OKC and Toronto are at equal level?

Portland might be the first healthy team GS has beaten in the playoffs last two seasons.

both teams are giving 7 players significant minutes in the po's .. that's the depth we should compare .. and then it's not even close

Funny how Kobe stans were only using records (especially 50 games wins teams) to rank Lebron's opponent.
Now that it doesn't fit their narrative, they want to use context.

That Toronto bench is scrappy with creators. They actually ignite a lot of the scoring runs in this Miami series. Lowry hit big shits when the bench gave them a 4 point lead.

this.. I dont even see the Raptors as similar level threat team as OKC, but its not like context ever mattered to Kobe stans before on the team records issue :oldlol:
But, but, the Boozer/Williams Jazz!! 50 win team for 3 straight years and they were nothing more than fodder

The last time a lebron led team beat a REAL team was in 2013 :applause:

Utah Jazz would beat every team in the Eastern Conference at least 3 times.

Well the Warriors will play Spurs in WCF, so this will make a difference to the total wins of their opponents.

Overrating the Eastern Conference and the competition usually leaves you guys speechless when the Western Conference team decimates the other team.
Just seems like a vicious cycle. It's not hard to understand

The Utah Jazz are a spectacularly mediocre team. Them and Detroit would be an epic 7 game series.

They play defense, hustle and play with a lot of pride....
The only team in the east that played with pride was the Celtics....who would've definitely put some mileage on the Cavs.

DET/ATL were in bottom half of the league in offense
no star players to challenge Cavs in crunch time like Harden or McCollum/Lillard
OKC has two superstars while Toronto has two scrubs and their starting Center is out for the season
What are you trying to prove?

okc is better than toronto, that's not a question. The Blazers and Rockets would give up 120ppg to the Cavs with their defense. Also Pistons were in the top half and both teams did well offensively vs the Cavs(around 110 ortg).

Carrol and Jonas are hurt
Whiteside is hurt
Whoever the cavs play will be missing starters. If they play the raptors they might be missing 2 starters for the series
Spurs & OKC are both healthy and have 3/5 top 5 MVP candidates.

The Celtics would not have taken the Cavs past 5. Maybe a sweep there too
