This guys has now QUIT his last two coaching gigs.
Here is what Evan Fournier thought:

Hennigan was pissed at Skiles because he harassed the DeVos family w calls & texts to land job, then said in mid-Jan he no longer wanted it.

Seriously, what a nob. Beg ownership for the job and want to walk away 2 months later. Doesn't look good on the resume.

WTF?
Maybe the players are too soft for him.
I don't know, man. This is crazy. Dude left behind a lot of money.

When he read on here that one of his fellow Floridians was too dumb to pass an assessment to get hired at Wal-Mart, he lost the will to live, let alone be a head coach.

Bingo. Trade Oladipo while you can.

New York Knicks would hire him, then can him after a few seasons where their defense is reputable, and can spend dough on 'star' players.

Seems like a situation where he was put in a tough spot:
Resign and part amicably, or we fire you.
Otherwise, this is a bit absurd.
If you are aware that you're not the proper coach, then adjust your coaching style.

Hah. What resume?
This guy won't sniff another NBA bench after this.

That's what they said last time he did this.

If you read between the lines he WANTED TO GET FIRED. Maybe even TRIED. That would mean he gets to keep his full contract (prob 3 more years and ~10M if I had to guess). But they weren't going to let him off the hook.

DeVos needs to go ahead and buy premium season passes to disneyworld and send them to vogel and his family. Butter him up in order to take the Orlando job before Memphis snags him

I watched most of the press conf and most reporters kept asking about what Skiles was thinking and ofcourse Rob kept saying "you have to ask him that question. If I was there I would ask
1. Was Skiles consulted with the player movement/trades like when Tobias Harris and Frye were traded?
2. Did he asked you to try to acquire players and you said no!.
3. Did he requested to hire certain personnel like scouts, assistant coaches, consultants, scouts and he was rejected?
4. Did you or DeVos try to talk to him to change his coaching style and/or play certain players more.
5. Was there any specific expectations like winning .500 and/or reach the playoffs last season?

Skiles and Martin both need to be gone.

He hated Tobias and didn't want Efrid Payton as his PG
