Thats because they faced weak competition, the only solid team Spurs were plagued by injuries. Who else did they beat? Well in 2001, the Lakers won 3-0 against Blazers, 4-0 against Kings, 4-0 against Spurs and 4-1 against 76ers. Thats a total of 15-1 record in playoffs, what were you thinking? Forgot the fact that first round series was best of 5 before 2003?

These scenarios are worthless without context. Is it using todays rules? Because Shaq wouldn't be allowed to manhandle Luc in today's game and the Bulls would win. If the game took place with the rules between 96-2001 I think its anyone's guess.
