That Lakers team is no match for the Bulls. Lakers won 56 games and aint even the best regular season team. They didnt beat a 60 wins team in the playoffs either, while the Bulls faced 60 wins Magic and 64 wins Supersonics. Stop overrating the 2001 Lakers, that 15-1 record is impressive but its also a product of good luck.

Its true, you know if this year's Warriors, Spurs and Cavaliers are 2001 Lakers opponents, they aint going 15-1. Or more precisely, not even going to win the title at all. The 1996 Bulls beat everyone from any year easily in a series, without even needing a game 7.

Thats because they faced weak competition, the only solid team Spurs were plagued by injuries. Who else did they beat? The Kings who aint good enough that year, and the 76ers led by Iverson as the only scoring threat? 01 Lakers were a 56 wins team, they were a class below this year's Spurs, and wouldnt have HCA against this year's Cavs.

Well in 2001, the Lakers won 3-0 against Blazers, 4-0 against Kings, 4-0 against Spurs and 4-1 against 76ers. Thats a total of 15-1 record in playoffs, what were you thinking? Forgot the fact that first round series was best of 5 before 2003?

And facing zero 60+ win team.

And zero 40 wins teams, unlike the Bulls who played a 42 & 47 win team in the first two rounds.

These scenarios are worthless without context. Is it using todays rules? Because Shaq wouldn't be allowed to manhandle Luc in today's game and the Bulls would win. If the game took place with the rules between 96-2001 I think its anyone's guess.

The 1996 Bulls were overrated, but I would still have them in 6 against the 01 Lakers (the most overrated team ever).

Can the Bulls stop Shaq?
Can the Lakers stop Jordan?
Which team has the better second fiddle between Kobe and Pippen?

Who has home court, what era rules are we dealing with?

Hard for me to choose against peak Shaq, even for Jordan.

it is meaningless arguing with kiddlovesnets...because that guy is the worst predicter in this forum...for example he said that blazers beat warriors in 6, than that san antonio will beat okc
than that miami would lose to the spurs in the finals, etc etc....every his quote is exactly the opposite...
