The regular season has become meaningless to judge both players and coaches. Look at Atlanta for one. Or how Pop played a lot of players that got no burn in the playoffs.
Donovan has actually done some good work with Thunder and it shows. He has gotten them to play defense, Westbrook now manages to look for teammates all game long, including a deadly pick and roll with Adams as well as finding open guys for 3s.
Westbrook is much better now than last season.
I think Thunder might suprise, but then again, teams usually give it their all against Spurs then have nothing left, like with Clips last year.
