View Full Version : How is Transgenderism dominating the media today??

Approximately 0.2 to 0.3 percent of the U.S. population considers themselves as Transgender, yet the topic of Transgenderism is dominating the news and social media alike.

My question is, how is this possible? How can such a minute issue as Transgenderism control the media landscape as it is currently doing?

The media is allowing the masses to believe and absorb that Transgenderism is really a viable thing worth discussing in today's Society. What's worse is that the media is portraying Transgenderism as anything but a mental disorder which it always has been.

We've always been on that transgender tip. J. Edgar Hoover, David Bowie, Prince, Poison, Twisted Sister, Marylyn Manson. We all about it.

You are right. We've celebrated and encouraged the desire to be different. To stand out from the crowd. But in life, there must be boundaries and lines that cannot be crossed.

Order.

Pretending to be something you're not based on a "feeling" and then countless number of people encouraging it does not bode well for the future of our society. We are basically turning our back on reality, and creating fantasy.

You are back. :applause:

I thought you left us. Pun intended.

because republicans felt like making a useless law for political posturing so now everyone on both sides is up in arms about it.

I would say Republicans put up a law because of the oncoming onslaught of LGBT madness and Political Correctness shielding such madness that's been striking this country. We were made aware of Transgenderism long before states like North Carolina took a stand.

The fact that our way of life is no longer sustainable...

and they have absolutely no solution for our problems.

or....

they are just pushing the gay agenda... and keeping us further divided
on unimportant issues.

I don't like the idea of suppressing someone's thoughts and liberties but in this instance it's best we do it to these people that feel like they are not the sex they are born with.

Sort of like how we suppress pedophiles by helping them cope. We need to do that with potential transgenders.

The old saying the rich get richer isn't a cliche anymore it's becoming very clear. Bernie mentions statistics on income inequality and people call him a commie for it. Sad state indeed :(

Because unnecessary laws are being passed that create backlash, and because Caitlyn Jenner has been wrongly miscast as some kind of hero for whatever she did to her body and appearance. If a transgendered like Jenner decides to become a different gender I basically respect their right to do that but it's not something worthy of praise the way that she's been praised. Getting awards for that is silly. And frankly I regret not having a Sports Illustrated subscription because I really wish I had one to cancel for them putting her nude on the cover. I believe in full rights for the LGBT community but that doesn't mean we have to worship them. It's gotten ridiculous.

People were right 20 years ago when they said what kind of generation would be created by the "participation trophy" mentality. Those kids are grown up now, and the results speak for themselves.

Exactly. A few misguided cuckservative politicians in the South decided it would be a good idea to cost their States billions of dollars over a fringe, non issue by making it a legislative matter.

It's no different than Ted Cruz trying to shut down the entire federal government over planned parenthood.

Just a handful of psychotic adherents of a dying political movement turning nothing into big issues.

Here is Caitlyn Jenner winning a gold participation trophy in the Olympics.

Yep special snowflake entitlement culture.

The worst attitude to teach your kid early is that everyone is a winner.

It's worse in England where I regularly run in to people who say "I can't afford to work" because they get more money from the government for being unemployed then they do breaking their back working a minimum wage job.

pretty much this. transgender issues are pushed by the media and politicians to divide the plebs and steer conversation away from issues that actually matter.

Liberals are against the idea of live and let live. They believe that kind of freedom is right-wing racist madness.

Liberals are all about authoritarian totalitarianism and trying to turn the US government in to Big Brother through "subversive" and thinly disguised segregationist policies like PC identity politics, black lives matter and the enabling of mentally ill people with body dysmorphia. Divide and conquer is the Cultural Marxist's plan of attack.

It's sad that it is working so well with all of the sheepy people who just believe and follow insane narratives unquestioningly.

people are for sure paying way too much attention to something that occurs once in ten thousand people and that person generally commits suicide before affecting the world in any way other than with its attention whoring
