I remember blazers fans hatin on him when he was coachin............Larry must got a good relationship wit him.............thought hed gook Ewing up since they bois........

Mcmillan is one of the most underrated players ever. To THIS day im still not sure who was the better defender b/w him and Pay Pay.........He was one of the best guard defenders ive seen. Great playmaker and rebounder from PG position and could provide solid spacing with his 3pt shot

Dude did this on limited mins too. Hes a great addition to even alltime teams. He led the league in steals with 3 steals a game when he played 25MPG!!!

He was a very good defensive player..is he a defensive coach? This does sound like a downgrade to me. Wasn't Vogel a defensive coach..

Wasn't McMillan already coaching the offense? :facepalm

Seems like not re-hiring Vogel was a simple cost cutting decision.

Pacers are going nowhere anyway does it really matter?
Cost cutting move probably...

What's PGs contract look like? Many years left?

I won't knock it until there are results.

I thought he was highly regarded after his Portland stint?

When does promoting an assistant coach after relieving a head coach ever lead to success? Frank is going to get paid.
