Durant has had a better overall career than Curry, so far. Yes, Curry has been better the past two seasons, but if we're talking about overall, you still have to rank Durant ahead of Curry.
Durant's 2014 season was just as impressive as Curry's current season.

Agree. Durant was on that goat level.

Curry's last 4 years: 25/8/5 on 48/44/90
Durant's last 8 years: 29/7/4 on 49/38/89 (since sophomore year)
Yeah, Durant is currently ahead of Curry in the rankings by longevity alone. Another title this year and I'm catapulting Curry ahead.

Just curious...if the Warriors were to beat the Thunder, and then go on to win the title...BUT, if in the Thunder series, let's assume that it goes seven games, and Durant puts up a series for the ages...say averages 45 ppg, and easily outscores Curry. Where would you rank the two then?

If Curry puts up his usual stats like 30/7/5, I'd still put Curry ahead. If he underwhelms like 20/7/5 and barely beating the competition, it'll still be a toss up to me.

Yeah I agree but don't you think Curry's accolades has already beaten Durant?

In the MVP department, but Durant was also finishing second to prime James. Who was Curry's toughest competition the past two seasons? Westbrook?

LeBron, Kawhi, Westbrook?

Those three were very good, but prime James is special. He does have 4 MVPs for a reason. ISH has long term memory problems. They forget what was being said about James in his peak.

While I don't disagree, most people look at how many awards/achievements you get and now who you got them against. For example, it doesn't matter how weak of an opponent you beat in the Finals. A ring is a ring. In that sense, a MVP is a MVP.

Agree except the last part. Durant's peak is great but curry's got an argument for top 5 all time. Durant's is more like top 15-20

Durant 32/7.4/5.5
Had to carry the team while Westbrook was out half the season.
That would be like Draymond & Klay were gone half the season and Curry had to carry the Warriors.

curry was 30/5.4/6.7 in 34 min to 38f for durant. and has nice edge ts% wise 68 to 63.5. No disrespect to Durant he's more in that Wade, Kobe, Tmac range.

sounds crazy since he's the worst on defense of any of the top 10 peaks. but his offense is just that good. I legit consider him over Duncan or KG who most people think have top 10 peaks.

Peak Wade and Peak Kobe? And you think Curry is automatically higher, not just in the same category?

yea I say curry's higher. His offense might not be MJ or Shaq level but it's more impactful than Wade or Kobe with the efficiency. I got np even putting his peak above peak KG or Duncan who most have in the top 10. Maybe not top 5, still have MJ Shaq Bron Kareem Wilt ahead.

Ima have to go with curry this season over Durant that season. His shooting %'s are better and also half the ft's but still 30 ppg. Who knows what he coulda put up if he had to play more 4th quarters this season.

What if he averages 18 PPG and his teammate averages 40PPG?

To me this isn't debatable...

KD's 2014 regular season is on par with Curry's 2016 one, but playoff wise, when Curry has been able to play, he has amazed the fans.... KD looked like shit in 2014 and even failed his own fans who got mad at him.
This doesnt even seem possible with Curry... getting fans mad at him? Please. Dude oozes confidence and greatness... he makes it all happen. No mental lapses.

30/9/4 on 46/34/81, glad to hear KD standard is peak MJ or something, since that looks like shit.
His playoffs werent as good as the regular season ill give you that, but he came up big in many games during those playoffs, and okc simply lost to a better team, and with an injured Ibaka(who had way more impact back then).
I can agree that curry's playoffs performance have been amazing during these 2/3 years, but the truth is that he still hasnt faced adversity and barely any elite teams. Lets see how he does vs okc
