06 stopped Spurs potential 3peat. He had one the greatest series ever by a PF including a blistering 37/15/3 on 68TS% game 7 with 0 turnovers!!! one of the GOAT game 7 performances on the road SMH

dude hit numerous clutch shots this series including a gamewinner and even blocked a potential Timmy gamewinner (so he was clutch on both ends SMH)

in 11 he stopped Lakers threepeat.............but also arguably Miamis.........

Dallas Mavs recorded the GOAT clutch postseason ORTG of 141 ORTG lead purely by Dirk and defensive role players and the GOAT clutch rating of any postseason team with a +71 net rating in the clutch:biggums: :biggums:

he averaged 10pts on 67TS in 4th quarters in that run in 11 minutes a quarter:biggums: goin up against LMA, Pau, Ibaka, Collison, Bosh and Haslem:biggums: ................................:applause: :applause:

Stopped a potential Spurs 3peat? Doesn't one have to repeat to be eligible for a potential 3 peat? Did I fall asleep through the entire 2006 season?

Please explain yourself sir.

Edit: Brain fart. I see the chip in question was in the middle.

Dumb thread is dumb

Two of the "3peat" teams u named hadn't even won the first title in their "3peat" yet ur acting like dirk out here playing against 3 established title winning teams when in reality he beat solid teams that were in the championship identity finding stages

Besides 2 of the teams u mentioned were in the same season, as if there are multiple 3peat teams playing at the same time like what kind of retarded kind of logic twisting is going on smh

Spurs had won a title in 2005 vs Pistons and got eliminated by Mavs in 06 and won a title in 07, if Mavs lose Game 7 Spurs potentially 3-peat, It's safe to say they were established champions as the defending champs that year.

Lakers had been to 3 straight Finals and were going for a 3-peat in 2011, but Kobe was playing with a bad knee and couldn't even practice and the team overall was fatigued from the 3 straight Finals runs.
